Poxy "Hello?" *Max sees that the phone is in fact, not in his hands, confused, Sam finds a note where the phone was placed* "Leave swiss cheese by the rat hole, or you'll never see your precious phone alive again".
It was a slow day at the office, the kind of day where even staking out Jimmy Two-Teeth at his abode in the wall didn't seem a worthy pursuit. Nothing was on TV, thanks to the need of our antenna on our last adventure, and even outside seemed too lackluster to bother looking out. As I sat back in my desk, watching Max doodle on himself with crayons, I couldn't help but think about the future. The future... Yeah, we'd changed history plenty of times, but would we really end up that way? Max was himself, for the most part, but I was... I was... Hmmm... Wait a minute... "Heh... Heh heh heh heh... Oh, of course!" Max glared up at me, looking like an animated Jackson Polluck. "What is it, Sam? Have you finally lost the will to live?" "No, nothing like that. I was just thinking about us and all that time travel business. You remember how we ended up, in the future? Me as a senile old bloodhound, and you addicted to virtual immersion games?" "Yeah, we were a pretty sad act. I almost wanted to shoot us, right then and there." Hold on... "Which pair?" "Dealer's choice?" I laughed. He cracks me up. "But seriously, remember how we also made us re-live that entire year-and-a-half again?" "Yeah! Those jerks! Wait... *I'm* one of those jerks, remember?" "I know, but that's okay, because I know you'll help me get even with us in the future." "Great idea! ...how's that again?" "We're not gonna go soft and senile. We're gonna make it *look like* we've lost it, and laugh it up while they go back to the present, all confused and disoriented." "Hey, I'm in. When do we start?" "No time like the present, oddly enough. I'm bored, anyway." "Then, let's get going! And may our credit limit never cease, and our bags never burst! For, we are on a mission to mess with ourselves across time and space!" We got moving. At last, something to break up the day! Of course, we'd actually be getting even with the wrong pair, but what the hey! We need to get out of the office, anyway.

I just recently started watching the cartoon and playing the first season of the telltale resmasters now in december, and I am super happy I'm not too late to the party, I think. Sam and Max are the best, and the music in every single piece of media is awesome

Poor Leonard must've grown to loathe this song.
I accidentally fell asleep at my desk and this was playing while I was sleeping. I'm still not sick of it
why would he hate it?
'Did you forget to feed Leonard today?'
"Mmmmf!"

How can anyone in their right mind turn tired of such a piece like this?
Honestly, this soundtrack works phenomenally. I was listening to it while drawing. It is literally the best background music ever. Bravo.
*Puts a corn dog on Max’s desk.*
Max: Is this some kind of joke?

I've known about these games for a while but haven't played them until two years ago, yet this and Bosco's Inconvenience is nostalgic for me.
Many a witty dialogue were had to this piece, wouldn't you agree Max? "I liked the part with the hostages and terror plot!" That didn't happen Max...

Really good theme. It reminds me of Wallace & Gromit.
News flash: Telltale Games have made Wallace and Gromit into an episodic video game like Sam and Max, except there are only 4 episodes

Didn't they take it off the steam market or something?
