    The cop whose daughter was drunk driving: mad respect for him. Didn’t even try to bail her out of it, despite her begging him to. That must be so difficult as a parent, but it’s the only way they’ll learn. Feeling like she could get away with it might have even emboldened her in the first place.

      Both my parents are police officers, and never met other kids whose the parents was also police officers, but I can tell you one thing for sure, if the parent is a good cop as much as a good parent, you won't be doing absolutely nothing wrong in your whole life, I'm 30 now, clean record, never used any drugs, never drank and drove, the only ticket I ever got was because I parked too far from a sidewalk and that was cause I was picking up my girlfriend from her home, I wasn't even parked, I was inside the car with the engine running, and I didn't tried to argue, I paid for the ticket and never got another one ever again, and I know for sure, that if I ever made one single mistake like this girl did, I would be arrested by both of my parents and I would probably get an ass whopping from the gas station to the precinct, they always told me that if I ever commited a crime they would be the first ones to put me in jail, they are great parents, they gave me the best education in the world, nothing in the world could be an excuse to do something wrong.

My parents who were not police, but military, always told me they would bring me to the police themselves if i did anything like this. Furthermore insured me that driving drunk would be met with the most severe of punishments. I have seen what drunk driving can do PERSONALLY... It's terrifying and Heart Wrenching.

      Two of the officer's risk their lives. The full video shows more. It's mainly the officer who body cam we were watching that didn't hesitate to help. As soon as he got out of the car he said "I have to get him" and that's exactly what he did. Another officer stepped up and helped as well. The others didn't do shit but secure the area and look at him. One officer was even telling him not to touch the kid and thank god he didn't listen to that coward. I will add he is a rational coward though because that was extremely dangerous what they did.

      @christopherespinoza-darnel8514 4 месяца назад +15

      No it's not and it wasn't actually 12 lbs.. The cop was exaggerating when he said that but by the looks of the bag from the video it was about 8-10 ounces of meth for that amount. Also people who get in trouble for their first time shouldn't go to prison unless it's violent or sexual, so let's not be ridiculous. Drug charges should NEVER result in prison time unless it's habitual (3 or more times caught with controlled substances) or such an insane amount that it's a guaranteed large distribution ring. This particular case wasn't that much meth (meth weighs less than it looks is his less dense than it feels). Anyway, my point is prison isn't just something that should be used so loosely. As being American, we already have the highest incarceration rate with the most people being held in custody whether it's county, state, or federal. As someone who spent 7 years in prison and am now 33 years old and have been out a little over 5 years now, our prisons are full of people who shouldn't be there and it ruins those peoples lives. I deserved to be there no question but for those that should have gotten drug treatment, ComCor, ISP, etc., over prison but got prison sentences instead, it changes MAJORITY of them for the worst.

You’re arrested for a DUI. Get in the car.” But then the officer was like, “oh it’s ok, it’s not a criminal offense. It’s just like a traffic ticket! 🤗” Damnit! Just totally undermines the dad’s point of teaching her a lesson, and in a way that would have a lasting impression on her! But here comes our positive police pal who’s going to go reassure her it’s no big deal to get a DUI! 😦😒😑

    I think the kid repeatedly saying "No" and "My daddy" is him trying to communicate that he was probably told not to talk to strangers. He's just so scared he can't get the whole sentence out. Poor kid. I hope he was young enough that he won't remember any of it.

    When that Larry creep said "it doesn't matter." That sent shivers down my spine. He knows that even if he's arrested, child kidnapping will never end.

    You guys nailed me with the marriage proposal. When I was theor age, I wouldve said that was stupid. But I'm 42 and I think it was a beautiful thing. Hats off to the police on that one. 💪

    The woman saying she doesn’t even know what Meth is/looks like, while she is obviously lying I can honestly say, I as a recovering addict have no idea what Meth looks like.
