    I was Crew Rep for the Navajo Scouts at the 1990 Dude Fire.

      I too was on the Navajo 2 team at the Dude fire.
      Was my last fire.

    One of the fatalities was a cousin of mine I had been searching for for many years. I only learned of this fire and his death recently. James Edward Ellis was the one. It’s heartbreaking to hear all these accounts.

    Native Americans espically Navajo can run so fast ask anyone in the military who's served with a Navajo they are always at the front of the pack literally lapping us lol.
