BEAUTIFUL MATE ! Where are you ? I had an RM250 a bit older - mine was the last year of Air Cooled engine. Mine was in San Diego. Sadly it was "more bike" than my modest 16 year old skill could handle - plus our "patch of dirt" barely allowed me to crack the throttle - LOL such is life. I 'think' I traded it for a more practical Honda CB360 Street Bike. My overall fav bike of that era was my trusty uber reliable Yamaha DT250 Enduro - bulletproof never skipped a beat in 10,000 miles / 2 years of constant use. Great memories of those early years !
@@psalm2forliberty577 Thanks mate, from central NSW Australia. I prefer the air cooled models, but I couldn't pass up owning this beauty. Also have a DT 175, I'm yet to do a video of it.
They are nice 250's. I've owned two first-generation water cooled RM's. A 85 model I ourchased new in 1986 and a 83 model I bought five years years ago and restored.
NICE 👍I would take that bike over a brand new one any day of the week,, I've got an 87 Honda cr 500 I've been ' doing' up for the last ten years ,lol..if it looks half as good I'll be happy ,thats a great resto...
Love those RM's. I had an '82' 465z and a '76' 250A. You're 250 is absolutely stunning.
@@WilliamsThomas-d3m one of the best looking bikes of it's day.
Wow what a beautiful restoration that was done on that machine . These bikes were rocketships !!! Good on ya for being the lucky owner!!!
@@xipingpooh5783 yep, I feel blessed to be owning this machine. Definitely an A1 resto job.

@@bigshowdownunder8969 cheers mate, keep plugging away at that CR500, and remember, it's the little details that make all the difference.

@@ShaunSavage-kl9pd that is correct.
Nice bike but this isn't a ride video. Thumbs down for the misrepresentation regardless of how nice it is.
@@jeffkeni no, it's not a ride video, it's an after ride video 😆
