Doctor Reacts To Family Guy Medical Scenes

- I’ve reacted to The Simpsons and South Park medical scenes, so next up is Family Guy! Seth MacFarlane has created a funny world in Quahog, Rhode Island, but is all the medicine from Dr. Hartman accurate? Today I discuss Peter becoming a nurse, Brian donating his dog kidney, dialysis, vestigial twins, Stewie’s ADHD, teratomas, tumors both benign and malignant, House MD, Popeye, stokes, vasectomies, and the dangers of smoke. Oh, also THE CHICKEN. Lois, Chris, Meg, Brian, Stewie and Peter Griffin sure have encountered a lot of medical scenes! Which ones did I miss?
I LOVE reading your comments and take your suggestions seriously. If there’s a subject you want me to discuss or something you’d like for me to react to, leave a comment down below. Many of my videos have been born out of suggestions directly from you, so don’t hold back!

I’ve watched enough medical drama to know these words
Popeye's forearms were huge because Sailors back in the day needed incredible forearm strength to pull the sail ropes. If you look at pictures of them back in the day, their forearms weren't quite so exaugurated, but they were pretty nuts.
I always thought his forearms were huge because he was a sailor and he spent a long time at sea without the presence of female company if you know what i mean.

The Alzheimer joke was so funny. It made sense that Dr. Mike had laughed that hard.
i have had an incredibly large phobia of medical facilities nearly my entire life, im not 100% sure on where that's from but given that i've never had a bad experience save for one nurse in one hospital many years ago, i think it might be my anxiety overanalyzing everything. it makes me feel nervous to be honest with what's wrong, because i'm terrified i'll have something life threatening. watching your videos and seeing you just being a genuine person has helped me to lessen that fear, to the point of willingly going to the doctor's without needing a reward after (i used to need to be promised gross fast food to get me to the doctor lol)

I remember one episode of Popeye, it's a teaching smoke is bad episode, Popeye said he's not smoking, it just an empty pipe and he like to blow it making his signature sound
The biceps will grow as soon as he eats his spinach, mainly due to BPA in the can liner causing artillery deposits to form in those tissues.
Same importance of the pipe for popeye like cigarette was important for Augustus in FIOS
Oh I must've misunderstood as a kid. But their was a character in the original series that was a shipmate who kept of taking his pipe. I forget why apart from the obvious.
@@TressonKaru I remember hearing how the person who made Popeye based him off someone they knew. This only Navy man who liked to sleep on a chair on his front porch and would always have a pipe in his mouth even while resting in his chair. The kids liked to mess with him and try and spook him to finally let go of that pipe. One particular instance some punks tried to challenge him in the woods. Fun fact: the person playing Dr. House in Family guy IS Hugh Laurie who plays the actual Dr. House. He’s actually a pretty funny comedian.
Rowan Atkinson is one of his colleague, they were play together in Blackadder
When he yelled GET THIS THING OUTTA MY SIGHT he sounded like a really good Hugh Laurie/House impersonator.
@@AL3X1KUS he only sounded like an impersonator on that line, cause House doesn’t get that kind of excitement in his show, that line sounds more like one of his deliveries in littlebigplanet 3

Calling Hugh Laurie a "pretty funny comedian" is like calling a black hole not very well lit. He has done a number of things over the years, all of which have been funny. He's hilarious in Blackadder. A Little Bit of Fry and Laurie had some wonderful skits. He was part of some thing about the history of the world that was better than Monty Python. He was an excellent Bertie Wooster to Stephen Fry's Jeeves. Season 4 of Blackadder is my personal favorite. It has Rowan Atkinson, Hugh Laurie, and Stephen Fry. It also has the character of Captain Darling.

Hi mom Who f*** is there
Yes that WAS Hugh Laurie! In fact, a vast majority of his career has been in comedy, so it was natural for him to voice himself. Extremely funny man!
Not only that, but Seth MacFarlane tries to get all the actual actors to voice their characters, and most are delighted to do it. Some a bit too eagerly. (looking at you Patrick Stewart)
And yet somehow, the Family Guy creators managed to strip all that humour from him and make a character that is ironically less animated than the real House.
