Crazy to think that his Azir used to be so bad that they would bench him whenever they wanted to run an Azir comp and put Easyhoon on Azir instead. The effort he put in to learn the champ to the point where he was the better Azir player just goes to show why he's the 🐐.
Jinx doesn't flash because he doesn't think Faker has enough distance. Faker knew he could close the distance even from that range. True pog.

@@greenmacaron8654 yeah, that's what I meant as in he didn't use flash. He would've thought, "surely Galeforce is enough", just like what anyone else would've thought since the distance was so far away.

okay but the jinx def had time to flash because leona did. Actually if we're being technical, Jinx had a few more frames than leona to flash due to where Faker was positioned when he ulted.
I watched that part 4 times, including 1 time with 0.25 speed. He chose NOT to flash, but use his galeforce. Unfortunately it did not buy Deokdam enough distance to avoid Faker's Emperor's Divide
@@WongKangJie I mean it makes sense due to how dashes work. When you use a dash you TECHNICALLY don't move until the dash is completed, which therefore means that jinx was stationary during the galeforce animation. This is why Emperor's divide caught her, whereas if she had used flash she would have escaped, as flash is a blink, not a dash. Coincidentally, this is why Jayce's hammer form e (and alistar w, to some extent) is such a strange ability. Ranged abilities that knock away enemies actively take into account the enemy's ccurrent location, whereas melee abilities of that kind do not, since the melee abilities are instantaneous and their effect applies when it is cast.
All in all, it was just the adc being greedy with his flash cooldown when he shouldn't have been. Faker had to flash ult to catch him, and trading flash for flash there is totally fine because they were both carries. If it were a support flash engaging (ex. rakan r --> f --> w) then it would not be worth for the adc.
jinx used galefore to dodge that ult, but faker predicted that(cuz he did know that jinx had both galefore & flash)

@@markpiper6382 If the Jinx flashed, it would mean that DK's bot lane would not have them. This makes Faker's attempt at the play worth it, regardless of whether Deokdam died or not.
In this case, Faker got his very delicious cake and got to ate it as well. Ws all around.

as an 1.7 mio azir otp I gotta say that he could get a 3 man shuffle atleast in that scene...but he went for the safe one when nemies had no vision on him which was smarter but not the best outcome he could get
