Panjim is the capital of Goa situated on the banks of the river Mandovi. The Immaculate Conception Church in Panjim and the Old Latin Quarter known as Fontainhas are the top attractions of this city.
Fontainhas has wide variety of Portuguese Houses in varying colors, narrow streets, a chapel and plenty of cafes.
Besides this there is Miramar Beach, Dona Paula Viewpoint and many Casinos such as Big Daddy, Casino Pride and Deltin Royale that are located alongside the Mandovi River.

Yes i do agree officially it is known as Panaji after liberation of Goa, but we locals mostly call it Panjim or Ponje in the Konkani language. In that manner there are many former names still maintained within Panjim eg Fontainhas, Menezes Braganza Rd, Santa Cruz, Dona Paula. Other cities as Vasco Da Gama name is still maintained, formerly known as Margao, now also being called Madgaon. It depends on actually an individuals choice, as long as the point of the video remains clear 🙏
