  • Cow hide popularly known as Wele in Ghana and Kpomo in Nigeria is cooked with other meat to enjoy waakye which i have the link below thus rice and beans enjoyed by most Ghanaians and some West African Countries. This recipe of mine is mouthwatering and finger-licking good because my wele turned out very soft just as I wanted it coupled with the peppered sauce. It's flavorful, nutritious due to the incorporation of the veggies and it taste amazingly good. Try your hands on and send me a comment.     INGREDIENTS:
    10 lb Wele (Cow hide)
    Crushed Tomato
    Tomato Puree
    3 medium sized Onions
    10 tbsp powdered pepper
    1 Cup Blended Garlic, Ginger and Onion
    1 Cup Sunflower Oil
    1 tbsp Adobo spice
    1 tbsp All purpose seasoning
    1 tbsp of Powdered shrimp
    Salt to taste
