When u added your bronzer to the eyeshadow it has the same effect as when ur coloring hair, your filling the color value between your skin and the color of the eyeshadow. Same reason u can't go from bleached blonde to black because your hair would turn green, you have to fill in the colors between. I hope that makes sense.
When I used the duo chromes I got hella fallout all night at work. I think it may be user error though. It made my eyelids look wrinkley, but yours look so smooth! Any suggestions on how to beat apply it?
