The thing that irritates me the most about this story isn’t even that she lied or stole money…..it’s the misinformation she spread to people who actually HAD cancer….she sent false hope and bogus advice to people who were actually suffering. As someone who watched her mother suffer through stage 4 breast cancer, the idea of someone lying about treatment methods to rake in money and get attention is beyond disgusting. She could have blood on her hands if any of those who looked up to her gave up their medical treatments to follow her “success story”. That just makes me sick to my stomach….truly revolting.

But to tell everyone how you " cured " or are basically helping you're cancer with bogus ass methods
When she isn't even a licensed doctor or researcher
Not to mention when people like her take donation money from good hearted people when there are REAL cancer patients who would absolutely be greatful to get that sort of money to help pay for their treatments
Just a random lady who claims to have cancer & claims to eat clean even when her own friend came out and said she doesn't even eat healthy she eats fast food and takes diet pills .
And then the lies she kept spitting out are to hilarious to even think of

It does surprise me that so many believed her. She looked so well, and real Cancer is never ever just disappears through plants or any kind of liquid concoction. That is so evil. She and her business partners should be in prison for fraud.

When she said her doctor was “Dr. Phil” I have to admit I burst out laughing despite how frustrating this whole situation is. What a load of shit. Good job, man. I remember hearing about her back in 2014-2015 but I never remembered what happened to her after she got exposed.

I'm 47 & have lost just about everything due to cancer. I'd say the treatment is the worst part about the fight but that only makes you feel so horrible physically & mentally. What hit me the hardest & most painful is that once I got my diagnosis, everyone in my life, both friends & family stopped coming around. Going throughout this alone is by far the hardest & most fu"ked up thing I've ever experienced. I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy.
I wake up everyday choosing to fight this battle for my son. He's all I have.
Apud, just know & believe that all the hard work you do now, is going to make for a better future for you & those you love.
Unfortunately, the majority of people are just struggling to get by…& too many will to do the worst things to “get ahead”. Don’t need a plane or a villa to lead a happy, productive life. People like Belle, constantly trying to live above their means & screwing people over are usually the most miserable of the bunch, trying to find fulfillment from material things.

I had a cousin who I was close to pass of brain cancer and a “friend” of mine at the time said she had an MRI and had brain cancer a couple weeks after I lost my cousin. She literally just had a pimple on her head and it has been 5 or so years since high school. She still is doing fine from what I understand and never had cancer. I just don’t understand why either. Maybe sympathy? I recently found out I have an ovarian tumor and although it’s unlikely to be cancer it’s been a pain in the ass. Pain, discomfort and lots of appointments. I still get sick about people who are fine with lying about cancer.

Nobody deserves cancer. Not her, not you nor anyone else. Cancer is like pure evil to me.
If cancer was allowed to be cured normally without any loss, millions would loose their job. Entire medical industries would disappear. The personal financial consequences of many millions would be horrific. Nobody but the patients want a cure. There’s just way to much money to be made of of incurable diseases. Even if there were many cures, it would not be allowed to sail. There are many examples to be found of this.
I am glad my mother did not die from her breast cancer. She is very, very lucky as are her children.

Runaway cell replication is a natural process that leaves room for mutations and evolution; you could be the healthiest eater on the planet and still end up with stomach cancer.
I'm so confused...how does a pathologically lying child get a book deal, an app with major publicity, a deal with Apple, and media interviews in the first place? Does no one actually fact check anything? They all really just took her at her word based on uncorroborated social media posts? Unbelievable.
Keep in mind this was during the more early stages of social media. I think a lot of people have caught on, but corporations are definitely still willing to exploit anything they can get their hands on so they would likely still promote somebody like this woman, TBH.

I mean I kind of get how it happens - who wants to ask someone to prove they have cancer before they do business with them? And I kind of get why nobody would suspect she was lying about it - it wouldn't have crossed my mind either that someone would publicly lie about something as huge as a cancer diagnosis. The only thing I will say is the magazines that didn't investigate the allegations people were making against her dropped the ball. At that point you have been given a reason to doubt her credibility and should look into things more deeply - especially when you're giving this person publicity.

there should be bigger punishment for people who fake illnesses and steal money from people. there’s that 19 year old tiktoker that was just outed this month for faking a cancer and stealing thousands in donations from people.
This is so frustrating. People believed her and made life altering healthcare decisions because of her. A personal example for me is my best friend who listens to people like this and now believes she can be totally healthy by drinking raw milk, eating certain foods, and using essential oils. She got cancer (something very treatable) a few years ago, and waited over 6 months to let the doctors remove the tumor. She believed she could shrink the tumor with her home remedies. I'm just grateful she gave in and let them give her effective treatment. I don't know that Belle specifically is someone my friend ever listened to, but that experience shows me how much harm someone like Belle can do.

Imagine all the people with cancer that she convinced to follow her lifestyle who probably ended up dying faster and with less likelihood of surviving.
What this women did was unconscionable, but I'm baffled that people continued to believe her after she said she was diagnosed with MORE cancer AFTER she got big as a holistic health nut. That right there would have tipped me off that something isn't right since her whole lifestyle was supposedly improving her prior diagnosis.
If you've ever seen her mum being interviewed you can see why she thinks she can get away with it - her mum just backs her up and never says she does anything wrong.

As an Army vet and someone had Stage 3 Melanoma with 50% to live past 5 years, surgery, and harsh chemo in 2005......people who do this(and stolen valor) greatly bother me.
I say that not just for my sake, but for those who I've known and seen. My first visit to the Cancer Center in Colorado Springs I still can remember the image of a girl about 13 years old with a missing leg and bald head getting off the elevator with her dad(I assume).
If you want to donate money to a medical facility....try cancer centers. There are amazing people who work there.

I have cancer that already has spread, I'm 49 and I know I will never be healthy again and I wont get much older. Right now there's always comming something else on top, since 3 days my right kidney is swollen,I have a big bump above my hip. Belle is healthy, she is on the lucky side of life, she should be happy about the fact, instead of miming being sick. She shouldn't lie to all these empathetic people, just to get their money.

Tara Brown did a magnificent job at attempting to take the girl down, but that wretched little liar kept snaking her way around a straightforward answer every single time she opened her mouth. It was infuriating. It was like she was playing “gotcha“ with Tara, and I detected a hint of smugness that said “ha ha. I’m too fast for You to REALLY get me“. But I will say that at the end of the interview when Belle said “thank you“ she did have sort of a defeated demeanor, which was satisfying.

It was so frustrating as she just talked in circles to avoid taking responsibility, then again, we can’t expect a person like this to admit that they did anything wrong. The faking the cancer things is by far the worst. Using it for social media when there are people who suffer and have died from the disease. I knew people that knew her before it all blew up and they said she has been a pathological lier for years and years all through highschool etc. The fact no one looked into her background of lying is pretty shocking to me.

To ensure I find out which foods are the right ones to eat. We need to stop depending on so many outside entities produced by individuals we know very little about.
