    Michael J. Fox, born June 9, 1961, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, is a renowned actor, author, and advocate. He gained international fame for his role as Marty McFly in the "Back to the Future" trilogy (1985-1990), solidifying his status as a beloved figure in pop culture. Fox also starred in the popular TV series "Family Ties" (1982-1989), where he won three Emmy Awards for his portrayal of Alex P. Keaton.
