Nice hike! I backpacked the Pecos Wilderness this year & had the same camp intruders that you had to deal with 😂. I'm also about ready to quit GoPro, battery issues annoying the heck out of me. Glad to see you on the trail, thanks for sharing!

Great video! My sister and I hiked up Beatty’s to Jack’s Creek for a weekend outing! It’s so beautiful there. There were lots of flies and mosquitoes, though, and I forgot my repellent! We still had fun though.

You're in good shape... you didn't skip a bit it seams on that first hike up. It's unfortunate that area is a long drive away from Texas - and what keeps it a wilderness.

Wonderfuk video, sir! This was quite helpful for me in getting an idea of what the trail is like.
I'm headed out there next month for three nights. I've never been to the Pecos Wilderness, so I've been trying to learn all I can before I go. I'm looking at starting at Jack's Creek and working my way up to Johnson, Stewart, and Katherine Lakes, then back down the Windsor.
What part of west Texas are you in? I'm in Andrews.
