@DJSoulbrother I did mention at start of video I used to do this when I covered Marvels Avengers so this is a continuation of this and I deliberately made this more about what Mike said than what I thought about it like Aaron does so to not step on what he does.

Releasing on console would be huge for them.
Not with the way controller support currently works lol. They need to fix that before they even consider consoles, because you would have a lot of people refunding.
Controller isn’t that bad, it’s not great either. I’ve been playing on controller since release.
I have D4 on console and would prefer controller over keyboard. Controller fits in perfectly in your hand while keyboard is not as natural. I think arpg is great for console but genres like turn based crpg, PC is more ideal with the amt of stuff u want to hover over. But either way, you just get used to whatever platform you're on.
How about we get the PC version working first? lol
@@TheNichqyeah you actually can’t get through certain aspects of the game without having a mouse connected. Atleast that’s what the game tells you.

Ooooh, I love the change to blessings. The ability to instantly switch between the ones you've found makes it way better. All you have to do (I think) is hunt for higher rolls if needed.
I really was hoping for more information about a release on console 😟 But I like the re-cap format, Tony 👍
They have specifically said in the past they plan a console release so although they talked about platforms here the plans is console for sure :)
I hope they make a monk/fighter class in the future. I feel like the only class that comes close to feel and similarity with movement is probably Bladedancer and I'm enjoying leveling my alt atm

Please have Weavers Will spawn on set pieces. Also let other uniques have a chance of having weavers will instead of LP.

Main thing I want in the game is something to aim for, early PoE did this well MTX rewards for doing x things in a league, even D4 with its Journey/Battlepass.
At the moment I find it hard to keep playjng any build past 70 just to get x% more damage to kill x% higher health monster
70 is the spot I'd normally struggle at and roll a new hero but one day I just started enjoying that part of levelling and would create a loot filter so I can really zero in on what gear upgrades I wanted and try to get the best blessing will farming. Not sure if it will work for you but it did for me :)

i think this is a good opportunity to combine this with the achievements system, honestly.
Make it so that two patches or so after release, you bring out achievements regarding the new system released with that patch. These achievements will unlock the MTX-items released with said patch. This will keep the store fresh and make players agree with a constant influx of new MTX-cosmetics while giving them the opportunity to get them through gameplay as well (as well as keeping players coming back to your game to get the achievements and their cosmetics, because let's be honest, PoE2 release will be a heavy burden on your player numbers)
So for example Patch 1.1 releases a cosmetic. Patch 1.3 releases a new system or gimmick to the cycle. Said System/Gimmick gets an achievement list. With that achievement you get a cosmetic released in 1.1 (You could even make this a deterministic system via currency i.e.). Once Patch 1.4 releases the item is either rotated back into the store or made unobtainable until a later time (Think Warframe's Vault system)
You could even add a system where your community gets the tools for creating new cosmetics themselves and release them to the store (of course with a review process to keep standards up) in the next patch cycle. They get a copy of that cosmetic for free as well as a certain percentage on all revenue generated by that cosmetic. This would mean you don't have to fully commit your own people to contionously creating new cosmetics, players could even MAKE money by creating stuff FOR you, you make money off of your community getting the stuff via MTX (and if you implement a vault system that will remain continuously high) and the community gets cool new cosmetics continously with a slight delay.
My assumption here being that a cycle is around 3-4 months long, so you'd have at least 6 months of an item being in the store before going free to play (and then potentially getting vaulted for a somewhat long time)
Agree about adding in cosmetics to achievements but if I pay for something I don't want someone else to get it for free at a later date. This will just make me wait until that point as well and will hurt their sales. I'd prefer store and achievement cosmetics were completely separate.

I feel like EHG will add some way to slam a set bonus on Legendaries one day.
Lets hope set items disapear altogether.

My issue with alt leveling is not the campaign skipping or from lvl 1-60. Both of these things can be sped up fairly easy. What I want is a way to lvl up faster at higher lvls so that I can experience endgame builds and content on different class. Because once you hit lvl 70 it feels like it takes exponentially longer to hit the next level the higher you go. As for the lack of end game achievements, I think it can be solved my simply adding more things to grind or system goals in the game while lowering the grind for previous systems. Like right now there is nothing but empowered mono’s and factions. If they could get a minor system added to the game mid cycle and a big one every new cycle there would be plenty of content to do endgame. Then they could also reduce grinds for old systems like factions so it doesn’t feel as sluggish and slow to do. This way you are accomplishing more things feeling good and getting more things to do after.
I kinda wish alts could just do something like D3 where you could just.. kill stuff and enjoy building your character. Perhaps with benchmarks for passives and idol slots. I appreciate the campaign being in the game, but I don't want to do it again just to play a new char.
Like having build wardrobe? Would absolutely love that to have the most diverse & lasting gameplay.

I hope they don't add pvp to a pve game. I can't think of a single game where one system doesn't hurt the other. Also how do you deal with pvp balance in a "no mid-season nerfs" system design. It's just a bad idea.

dont think alt catch up mechanics is a must.. but a SKIP campaign/sidequests would be very much appreciated.
I hope they keep pvp out and just go all in on the best pve content possible. Pvp is going make balancing a nightmare and just be a overall negative. Also i hope they're not getting lazy with set items because they need big time overhaul, they're useless.

Back in early access they did say engine was build for console and crossplay so lets hope that is still the case!

No date atm as they've said for a while now they need to nail down PC experience first.
I just wish there was character customization and characters weren't gender locked.
I would like to see more variety of the ancient items to make every skill/mastery viable. Also, it would be nice to see more interplay between skills, like... The way war path can auto cast Smite and/or Abyssal Echos. Maybe make it a flathat can toggle between multiple other skills.
Darn bro, not enough details on console support (PS5) if your title says console! Reason being I just bought a $1k gaming laptop to play LE and could possibly refund it soon lol
Gonna be a good while yet before is it on console but they have 100% confirmed console is the plan in time as much as this sounded a bit more vague with talk of platforms.

I got this game because everyone raves about it, and it's got great potential, but this is like an alpha build. This is so rough and unpolished and crashes every 5 minutes for me unless i set graphics to absolute lowest and cap fps to below 60. And the UI is omg so rough. Can't rebind controller keys. Etc etc. I would wait a year to get this and play it, I uninstalled it and will come back to it

If they cranked the exp up before patch then i cant imagine how it was before, like getting ur lvl 7/8 after multiple lvl 100 characters or what lol

Please fix monolith progression lvl 77 swarmblade atm 126 echos deep and my progress bar is still stuck on fall of the outcasts fist mission. Maxed out stability long ago. Please prioritize fixing this. This bug has killed my desire to keep playing.
You need to click on quest echo option on left to do that mission to proceed to the next.

Its really concerning that he thinks that factions taking too long to level up and lack of end game goals/content are conflicting ideas. Making things take artificially long by adding required grinds is not the same as making the endgame more interesting.

I agree. I basically hit 100 and got bored with monos after 2 weeks. I only reached level 7 in COF lol. Factions should be capped by the time you hit 90 imo.

@TheNichq Agree to disagree here. Having a system that you have to dedicate time towards is really rewarding for some of us. If we can cap out a major system just by passively leveling doesn't give the same feeling of impact OF the system.
Needing to dedicate time towards the leveling of factions is nice for those of us who plan on spending a significant time in the game because it introduces rewards past the point of min-maxing your gear.
I completely understand the desire to speed up factions to be completed during Main leveling and it is valid. I get that some need to experience as much as they can in a single playthrough because only so many hours in a day.

Faction leveling needs to be account-wide. The rep grind is attrocious.
It is. You just join that same faction on the other hero and it has the level saved.
No pvp please. Pinnacle bosses and maybe team raids with many mechanics and high difficulty...with role..tanks ,supports and dps😊😊😊
A bit strange to only put shop cosmetics up every 3 months, when your entire monetization is based on them. Especially since their is no transmog system. I want to look good, but tbh most of the current shop cosmetics look way worse then the ingame stuff.
For now they're likely going easy or people will complain they're focusing too much on monetisation.

Spoiler: It actually doesn't take too long to level up the factions currently.
Most ARPG players stick around for a few weeks a season. Thats it. Two weeks in and Im level 90 and only rank 6 in COF. I decided to hang it up for S1 yesterday since just doing monos is simply to boring. I was hoping I would atleast get another week out of it, but I couldnt bring myself to keep grinding for the insanely rare chance at an LP3 or 4 item, only to do the same mono grind.

@@Krohmathis, as a solo player im not even interested in the slightest to even check out the merchants guild. If i wanted to make trade a core part of my progression i'd simply return to poe.
I play on eternal most of the time but for cycles would people level one more than one per cycle? I don't think I would and I'd alternate them.
@@TonyBingGaming It is hard enough to grind one at the moment. Rep grinds to me are a substitute for engaging gameplay, they didn't work in D4, and they won't work in LE. I really don't see the point in them, MG is altready way to long and pointless, I just want to trade.

Pvp is a money grab. The developers job is to challenge us with content. Pvp is the cheap, easy way to have players challenge each other and do their job for them.
It’s like reality tv (no actors or writers) or self-checkout (no paying cashiers). They are tricking you into doing their job aaaand charging you more.
I mean he did say that it wasn't a priority and they don't have any current plans so hardly a money grab if they are doing it after everything else
Anyone asking about leveling alts faster needs their head checked. I'm a new player at 1.0 launch and I can get a new alt to level 50 beating the first monolith in under 2 hours. It takes a max lvl player boosting you for that same time to get to lvl 50 in D4.
