nice brother a Belmont most to love his Castlevania games not so much into speed running myself since i am more of the opposite playstyle but i do appreciate good gameplay on the highest difficulties most 3D Castlevania games have some of the most tragically underrated combat and mechanics, far much more ahead of the time of most modern games

the item dupe is a feature not a glitch :} - as both starting hallways allows dupe - one at save, one at training area and i think other areas in game as well but never bothered to look
i had this game when i was 13 but i didnt like it because i wanted it more to be like devil may cry 1 lol. now in retrospect i realize its a pretty decent game. wish i didnt trade my copy haha.

Castlevania Lament is my favorite ps2, I really like it.
I think it is superior to the first 2 DMCs. only loses to DMC3 which is an incredible game
