    VERY HELPFUL VIDEO! Thank you for the great tips… especially about the Internet. I am hoping that they have resolve the issue since you posted this video as I am also a business owner and I definitely need to be able to get online. It was also very insightful to learn about the Seattle port and that the importance of downloading all your documents in advance before you get there. So thank you very much! And finally about the arcade, that’s really disappointing to learn because my daughter who is a teenager is a big arcade fan and I’m glad that we know not to buy too much in advance so she’ll probably focus more on the teen hang out area and the bumper cars. We are sailing end of June 2023, so just a few weeks away.

    • @TheCompleteCouple

      If you plan your departure off the ship very early, Like 7am,I think you would not have an issue making that flight. It might not hurt having a pre booked departure vehicle waiting for you because the taxi line can take 45 minutes to an hour. Hope you have a blast on your cruise Ben

    Now this was a GREAT video. Going on Ovation soon and you have provided some really good information. We are sailing Star Class, so hopefully some of the issues you had will not be a problem. We are able to board as soon as we arrive and they offer tons of other perks including priority seating, drink and dining package, no gratutities, free laundry, a Royal Genie and free internet. I dont think we are scheduled to stop in Canada, was that a scheduled port stop for your cruise? I am looking forward to this one after so many caribbean cruises with Royal. Any hotel suggestions for Seattle? thanks!

    • @TheCompleteCouple
      @TheCompleteCouple  Год назад +1

      That is awesome! We have thought about doing star class and hopefully will do it soon. We have done Haven on Norwegian which I believe is somewhat similar and it was great! Yes Canada was a scheduled port for that weeks cruise. We stayed at the IHG Lake Union. The location was great however the hotel itself was average at best. I believe there is a Hampton Inn and Suites right near the space needle has great reviews!

    • @campusx4195

      @@TheCompleteCouple Thank you! If you have the chance to book a Star Class suite...do it! It is def better than the Haven and you will never want to cruise any other way! You will want for nothing and if you do by chance need anything....they call it "Genie Magic" and it will happen. They engage with you daily and by day 2, they know more than you realize. While having casual conversation with my Genie, he was actually taking mental notes and providing things I wanted without me asking....I mentioned to my mom how excited for lobster night...did not have to wait because at Dinner it was my own person lobster night. I liked the little things like not having to scan seapass card to get towels at the pool, once i showed my Star Class Seapass, they handed me 4 towels and said "is that enough" The crew must be given photos of Star Class passengers because by the end of day one, I was greated by last name by crew I did not know and no longer had to show seapass card when ording drinks...if you can it is an experience worth the price.

    Hello! 😊 We watched your video a few times in preparation for our trip in 2023 and it had some great information & tips! Greatly appreciate it. I read in the comments that you booked all of your excursions through Royal. We’re very interested in the White Pass Scenic Railway train ride that takes you up to Canada & back. However, do you know or hear how it works or how different the process is if you do NOT book this excursions through Royal? I just can’t convince myself on the price being almost doubled if you book through Royal vs. directly through the train company. So any information or tips help! Thanks so much in advance!

    • @TheCompleteCouple
      @TheCompleteCouple  Год назад +1

      That is wonderful we are so glad we could help before your trip! Yes we did book that excursion through Royal, however the white pass railway excursion I believe will be very easy to do without going through the cruise ship. When you get off of the boat, the train is almost directly there, you cannot miss it. I believe they do run a few times throughout the day and have various time slots. From what we saw I would say it would be quite easy since the train is just a short walk away, there are conductors out front ushering everyone and helping people on (these are the people that also check your ticket), and there was still come extra spots on our train! I would say it is definitely not a bad call if you can save some money!

    • @TheCompleteCouple
      @TheCompleteCouple  2 месяца назад

      Not 100% sure but from what I have heard, I do believe they have changed it. I believe you cannot order multiple lobsters. You are just allowed one dish of lobster now, I think it has been a recent change in the past six months or so. I believe the bumper cars and rollerskating is still free of charge. You just have to wait in line

    Doing this cruise on July 29! Can you clarify; does a taxi drop you off right where you need to be and an Uber/lyft is in a different area? What is your recommendation? Thanks!

    • @TheCompleteCouple
      @TheCompleteCouple  2 года назад +3

      Yes, Taxi’s do drop off right at the entrance. However, Ubers/Lyfts drop you at a secondary location that you have to take a shuttle bus or walk to the entrance. We were dropped at the entrance by taxi so I did not see the Uber area. However I overheard some people saying it was not too bad of a walk.
