Nicely done! I have been putting off doing my closet wardrobe switch for a little while now and I have been wanting to do so here recently. I have been looking to revamp my style and re organize my closet. I have watched a few spring refresh videos now and I am feeling more motivated to go work on my closet and give a good makeover. I never considered your temp change coming from Canada to NC, that mustve taken some getting used to. Send us 80 degrees! Still snowy and 20s in Nebraska
Thank you for putting the temperature in celsius on the screen, I always need to find a converter everytime fahrenheit is mentioned! We’re lucky if we get 80 degrees fahrenheit in the middle of the summer here in Norway… Love your videos!

Aww thanks! And yes I get that, when I lived in Canada it was the same way. Where it’s a much more mild climate here, I feel like I can get away with just warm and cool weather clothes though :)

No switching over wardrobe content for English me. We can get four seasons in one day and it's good to always be prepared!
Such a great idea to refresh and purge every season. My weight fluctuates so this is great motivation to try on things and find what works and what doesn’t.

We have been below our average temp for a while now and still have so much snow on the ground. Sadly, it looks more like winter than spring. And more talk of snow coming tomorrow. So, it'll be some time before the switch of clothes for me. However, I totally enjoyed watching your switch over and declutter.

Is there anyway you can do a video on like...if there's a certain color theme you prefer to make it more minimal or??...i know some minimalist men just have duplicates of one t-shirt for example. 😅 I can't do quite that boring but I am almost considering nature colors... Green blue brown, etc
I definitely need to declutter my closet, I actually thought you had way less clothes than that haha. Question, do you hold on to like concert t-shirts? Or TV/movie shirts? That's my problem taking up space lol. I have them in a storage bin, hoping to make them into a blanket one day but still hasn't happened. 😊
Haha I used to have a good bit less! My closet it slowly becoming less minimal than it used to be. I honestly don’t really have any concert tees though. I had a couple in high school, but I haven’t gotten ones in years. I know that’s not super helpful, but I’d just say be realistic about whether you think you’ll ever actually make that blanket.
The sweaters that you love the texture of but don’t like the fit, I would make a pillow out of it. The speckled sweater would make a great pillow.
I have more of an ecclectic/ 'alternative feel to my wardrobe so lots of different jeans, long and short sleeved graphic tops, patterned tights, elbow length gloves thenlist is endless 😅 And I find it so difficult to get rid of clothing, particularly t-shirts (I must have over 40 atm!) I'm also more of a 'maximalist' but I still love your content and look forward to the uploads!

My roommate has very little clothes and it makes me wonder 🧐 is she a minimalist like me?? Does she only have so little things (which she does!) I strive to be like you and her!!!

Omg Ash, I was wondering.. since you got a dresser, are you going to store the folded clothes in there or keep storing it in the cubes in the closet?
Haha so I’d considered doing that, but I’m not sure that I will, since I typically get dressed in our closet. Not sure if it makes sense to split up my clothes half and half like that... but at the same time I do want to find a good use for the dresser! 😅
My biggest struggle is having and storing clothes that don’t fit or work right now. Like before having my son versus after and then being pregnant again it’s just so difficult because I have my maternity clothes but then my postpartum clothes so I’m trying to figure out how to limit what I keep but also keep what I need for the pregnant and non pregnant times.
Yeah I'm pregnant with my 4th in 5 years so I'm with you! I have a maternity box and a postpartum box. Some of my regular clothes can be worn throughout but otherwise they go into whichever box is empty when not being used. I try to think of it similar to storing away winter clothes in the summer, keeping clothes I'll need and use in a different season :)
Oooh that’s totally makes sense! In situations like that, I feel like it makes sense to hang onto most of it, until after you’ve had your kid life stabilizes a bit. 🤍

I have such problems keeping clothes that are too small in hopes I lose weight some day... I have a big black trash bag in closet for this purpose

I'm confused why you wouldn't keep your off season clothing in the drawers you mentioned were empty last video (?) rather than storing in plastic, which is not a great option for the clothing. Just curious, no shade.

I have def fallen off the minimalist wardrobe wagon 😔 I was a SAHM for 7 yrs and had minimal wardrobe. Then I started working at my kids’ school and it all went downhill from there. The teachers I work with dress so nicely from dresses with cardigan shirts or jean jackets, medi skirts, dress pants, etc…And it made me feel so insecure and I ended up buying a lot of clothes 😔
