Faith Hill did an outstanding performance of the song on the "Pearl Harbor" movie soundtrack, and I give her her due credit for it. But I have to say, in my opinion, Lucy's performance of it is other-worldly! I hear Faith, and I think "what a wonderful voice." I hear Lucy, and I think "what an absolutely angelic, soul-stirring, emotion-laden voice hitting me squarely in my palpitating heart!" The song is from the movie : Pearl Arbor. I remembered the movie, but forgot the song until I listened to Lucy. The two singers are very , very good, but: I prefer Lucy , because everytime I listen to her, I feel her voice is like a warm blanket wrapping around my heart .❤👍🤗
Evolution. Someone has to be in succession to replace/carryon the Diva class. Lucy is the only one capable of doing that. It comes down to who is better now. Lucy should carry that torch now. She is mellifluous!👍🌹❤️
I don't listen to Faith Hill much so I had not heard her version of this song. I think that Faith Hill did a wonderful vocal performance. However, I had listened to Lucy Thomas's cover of the song. I am biased because to me, Lucy Thomas is the best female vocalist that I have ever heard. So obviously, I am going prefer her performance of the song.

I admit that I am a fan of Faith Hill as I think she has a beautiful voice. Can't really fault the "Pearl Harbor" music video as it was very good as was the award winning movie. Lucy easily matched Faith in this song off. Hard to pick a winner here for me so I will also call it a draw.
