      Thanks so much for letting me use the unit dude, that helped so much!

    Great video. I agree, I think you really need to have a minimum of a 100litre air compressor. The tornardor tools go through the air tank so quickly. I've got a 50 litre air compressor and it's disappointing when it comes to the tornador. The peak power is only available for a short period, which is in line with your findings.

      Do you know what, I'm really glad that other pros are finding the same as me. There's so many people extolling the virtues of the 50L SGS one and I just can't see how that's up to the job.
      I'm trying to bend Hyundai's arm to give me the 100L for review,. I'd love to ratify my opinion.

      @@SuperchargedLlama I'd definitely be interested to see the comparison between 50 litre and 100 litre air compressors. I just haven't bitten the bullet yet and bought the 100 litre one.

      @@jcvdvandd there's also a silent one by a brand called TEH which is 14CFM, silent and 100L. I'd like to try that too but they never return any messages or calls. It's not something I can afford to buy just to review on the channel.

      I'd recommend buying the name branded tornador gun as it has an air adjustment dial on it. As you don't always need full pressure it'll use less air 😁

    Interesting, I'm in Spain and literally received my Hyundai 50L compressor yesterday. But! mines silver and its called Hyundai HYAC 50-2S.. Can't tell you anything about it as the instructions are in Spanish lol

      I'd seen pictures of silver ones, weird isn't it? You'd have thought a uniform offering across the globe would be useful!

    Blue compressor is 3hp vs 2hp silent version which is why it takes less time to fill and performs better. Ideally you’d want the new 4hp 100L silent as it can hold 10bar of pressure in the tank (50l are only rated to 7/8bar) and then turn it down to around 6/7bar on the outlet for the tornado, but these are £600 which is very pricey for a compressor. These might come down in the future in price as the 50l was £350 when new but can be had for as low as £230.

      Yup you're absolutely spot on there. If we say it loud enough Hyundai might give me the 100L for review (the 3000watt one you mentioned) so I do a proper comparison to demonstrate the difference.
      Of the two 50s I would choose the silent one. It's definitely less powerful, but it's so much more pleasant to be working around when it recharges.

    Excellent demo's of these tools that pros would use. So, loudness is normal conversation (ish) or sticking your head in a washing machine. You've definitely made the right choice there

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yup that's a very good way of describing the difference. You can easily talk with the silent one on behind you, in fact the air tools are louder than it, that's not the case with the blue one.
      I am trying to negotiate the bigger unit to compare that too and see if my hunch is right.

    Thank you for doing a video on compressors!! There are never any good YT videos on UK available machines and comparing them so great to hear your thoughts!

    Great video. Not used a compressor for detailing as I’m only a weekend warrior but I can definitely see their purpose for the pros. I agree, if your a mobile detailer then the silent model is the obvious choice but for £50 more I’d go with the 100ltr.

      I reckon that's how I'd be leaning as well, I'm trying to get the bigger one from Hyundai so I can validate my hypothesis, but even if I can't...I reckon it's absolutely valid. I can definitely see the 3000watt one being superior for sure, but it's almost £600 so you'd definitely got to be doing this professionally OR completely loaded😄

    Hi, do you carry water tank in the van?
    Iam thinking a compressor is more important than tank and generator?

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  5 дней назад

      I've replaced the tank with the compressor - it's in the exact same space actually so it worked out well for me.
      I have kept the generator as I find I use that at some clients due to them not having and easily accessible power socket, but water isn't a problem (I just don't take customers who don't have it).

    Cool video. Am i misunderstanding this, it takes 2 mins to recharge every 15-20 seconds you use it? Or have i completely got my wores crossed?

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  9 месяцев назад +2

      You've not, but I've also not explained it well. It's 2 mins from dead empty, where as it kicks in during use when the air pressure drops below a certain level, so the tank won't be completely empty. I could have timed the recharge time during use, couldn't I! Doh. Wasn't super quick though, maybe a minute.
      What I found was that you don't really use the tools continuously though, more like....you use them in bursts.

      @SuperchargedLlama OK, that makes sense. Sort of irrelevant to me, I'm an enthusiast, none if it would be in my tool chest, but I still like to watch, learn and understand. Thanks Adrian. All the best 👍.
