I am a Minnesota fan and love Hensley. That being said, if Frankel doesn’t win a season end award for best goaltender, that is a travesty. She is incredible!
@@wolfwang8464 look at how many shots on goal she had to stop. Minnesota wore her down through attrition. If the Boston offense had put the puck towards the Minnesota net as many times, I don’t think Hensley would have done better.
No loser in the best goalie department. Any of the three nominees can win it. I’d give it to Campbell based on her 11 game winning streak and no real backup goalie in Toronto. She basically carried the mail all year
Love this. Lifetime hockey player, always thought it was a shame there was no league past the olympics for these amazing players. For anyone that never skated, these ladies are GOOD. Love that they can check too.
Its nice seeing the PWHL succeed. I didnt watch any games live because there isn't a Detroit team so its hard to get invested in it, but it is exceeding the expectations i had for it. Maybe ill watch more next season
cant beleive i missed it, it was the highlight of my day coming up and my stupid bad memory made me forget about it. Still happy about the outcome though as a minnesota fan. congrats to both teams

Not my ideal ending but congratulations to Minnesota, truly earning the "State of Hockey" nickname. Thanks Boston and NY for an incredible season and thanks to the league (especially YT Gal), hopefully the games will still be free next year and expansion comes soon. Also I'm so glad they finally made it onto two separate late-night ESPN segments. Way to go!
If you're a hockey fan who goes to live games try to go to these games. The atmosphere is better than any college, juniors, minors, or NHL game I've ever been to.
Justice served as the better team won after being robbed by refs with an agenda in Game 4. I am surprised that the national media covering the PWHL doesn’t take more heat as they did not foresee success to either team at the beginning of the season, favoring Montreal, Toronto and New York. Time to get off the journalistic homerism.. and be better journalists. Congrats to both teams for capping off an outstanding inaugural season and making history… paving the way for bigger things to come. While Hensley stood tall for Minnesota in the championship series, they dont get to play Boston if Maddie Rooney didn’t stand tall in the first round with 2 shutouts. PWHL Minnesota joints the Minnesota Lynx and the Minnesota Twins as the only pro teams in Minnesota to win the big game… the Timberwolves, Stars/Wild, and damn Vikings should learn something.
