- In Hawaii, the Spartan Trifecta weekend usually happens in the third ish weekend in August (this year August 21-22). Back in 2019 I did the Sprint which was the 5K that had 20 obstacles so this year I decided to challenge myself and go up to the next race level and do the Super.

Haha thanks! 😅 I trained hard for that one. Also if you want a mud race that is kinda like Spartan there is the Makahiki Challenge that happens in December that’s fun also if you don’t mind mud 👍🏻😁

They do have some groupons I saw for the trifecta weekend or if you want to do a race my friend told me if you volunteer with them they will give you a free race. So someone my friends volunteered the first day and then did the sprint the second day for free. 👍🏻
No worries, I have a season pass, but I appreciate the info! 😁 Either 2022 or 2023 I'll have to return to Hawaii to do another, I'm hoping! 🙏

The wife is from da big island in Naalehu And we plan to come back home in 2023 from the mainland we will definitely do the sprint I might do the super

I just tried my best 😅 when you’re there you see so many people that encourage you to succeed. It’s a very positive environment for sure.
What was your time?
I don’t remember what it was. Our group were fooling around so we weren’t serious about making a time 😅
I did this 2019. It was hard.

Do it! Every year is is a personal challenge with yourself to see what you can do.
