I want you to know that as a kid I thought half the monsters were just unplayable and always hated not being able to play as Biollante. Thank you so much I can't believe how much content I missed out on as a kid.

To be fair, a good amount of these kaiju were kind of convoluted to unlock. Even if you actively destroyed every crystal you came across, there were still some oddballs like Titanosaurus where you had to destroy structures not even inside the arena's boundaries. Unless you had a guide or literally looked it up, it's highly unlikely that anybody would've figured out how to unlock all these monsters.
Biollante was one of the few mutants I managed to unlock

Yeah, but I mean people have said unleashed has been the worst godzilla game ever created, which I freaking love this game, but I really don't see another game coming sadly.

For the longest time, I thought titanosaurus was only unlockable by destroying those 2 crystals forming over the "vents" in osaka, turns out nothing is unlocked there (despite the game saying so lol)
Apparently that was planned to be the unlock method for Hedora, but they ended up scrapping him because he was too difficult to animate.

Thanks for the video, SuperGodzillaGaming! It's very straight and to the point. A couple of questions for you though.
1. What's your progress on finding a version of the mobile game Godzilla Monster Mayhem (the fighting version that is 3D) to download? I've tried looking elsewhere, but so far I don't have anything substantial. I just keep getting dead ends and dead links.
2. How long does it take for you to upload these playthrough videos that are around an hour or possibly longer?
3. What do you think of RUclips's new layout?
1) Haven't checked around yet, though still interested in checking it out one of these days.
2) Uploading's not a problem. Have a super fast connection, so it takes about 20 minutes or so. It's the rendering that takes ages!
3) I think it feels very... condensed. Maybe it's just me, but everything feels smaller, even the video player. But I don't find it too bothersome overall, I'm guessing it was done to make it more appealing for tablet/mobile device users.

I pretty sure I bought at least one monster from each faction but Godzilla 1900's hasn't showed up in the shop

At 9:26 kiryu enters critical mass very fast by using his beam
My question is does using beam on a crystal makes you enter critical mass quicker?
I think that has something to do with Kiryu having the Fire power surge. All other surges give corrupted monsters some noticeable bonus effect, but because the Fire Surge is supposed to give you a powerful (and nearly unstoppable) red beam, this was removed from the corrupted monsters in Story mode and they were given the ability to enter Critical Mass very quickly to compensate.
I do not understand why when doing the mission to destroy the 3 purple structures when I have not finished, all of a sudden the mission ends

GUYSSSS I JUST FIGURED HOW TO UNLOCK GODZILLA 90!!! YOU NEED to discover at least 1 secret monster of each faction! Or Have all the Heisei monsters for it. Cause i just unlocked Mecha KingGhidorah and BOOM there was Godzilla 90.... SO YEAH

I remember in Osaka there was a rift with green smoke with some kind of garbage in it, like it was a breakable "crystal" like one of those for unlocking characters. What was its purpose?

Something like that, he will appear in the shop once every other monster has become available for purchase or has been unlocked, minus Godzilla 1990s. G1990s doesn't need to be unlocked for G1954 to appear, though it's highly likely G1954 will still be the very last monster you get.
When I got megaguirus I got godzilla 1954 without Bargon and spacegodzilla so I got both of them and I got godzilla 1990s so thanks

Wait comelete final level tyrant will unlock spacegodzilla? He is hard to unlock by collecting power surges because there is 100000 points to unlock him so he is very hard to unlock collect more points and unlock spacegodzilla by buying him

There are 3 total - Megalon so very helpfully destroyed the one off on his side! You can see it very briefly around 6:44 as the camera is turning to focus on Godzilla 2000 (upper-right corner of the screen).

Simple - because Baragon's fire is too short, and Anguirus doesn't have a long-ranged projectile, they cannot destroy the Mothership's beam hatches. As a result, King Ghidorah shows up as their opponent... for some reason.

He was added at the very last minute, so they couldn't afford to include him in story/training mode without delaying the game

Not at all. He's just a super-secret character, probably because he was added so late into development.

I recall the ps2 version lets you play as G90s in story mode.
Correct! But that's mostly because the PS2 version is largely a watered-down version of PS2 Godzilla: Save the Earth.
SuperGodzillaGaming not sure if it was my disc, but for me achieving tyrant as G90s was impossible as the game would crash at the final day.
Really? Actually, I don't think I ever strayed from the default alliances with these monsters, even in my off-time... I'll have to try it one day with my game and see if I have the same problem.

Also perfectly acceptable! I love unlocking fighters in games like these, there's something satisfying about it (even if some characters aren't worth the trouble sometimes).
