Option B: switch the cans just like you had them in the beginning of the video. Swap their positions, do not rotate them. Have both belt feeds together in the middle under the gun. Bend the belts outward (back over the top of the can) and then up to the guns. Check out Baldylockz review of it! He nailed it!
I have dealt with 50 cals in my military career and having the belt feed coming out of the top, is a realistic look and feel due to the belt of ammunition will not push down on the feed to 50cal when engaging . Great update video on this glorious set looking forward to get it soon my self. Keep up the great videos
I appreciate you making this video. I followed the instructions, and was very unhappy with how the ammo boxes looked. This makes much more sense, and obviously looks a lot nicer! You've got class, Manny. We all love ya, bro
The instructions just needed the cans sitting on the platform. The orientation is correct for what they were going for and the cans stay in place through friction. This is Hasbro's fault for not doing a final proof of the instruction manual.
Dood I love that you don't run from mistakes we're all human. I love that you had fun with it the picture of cover girl showing clutch how to do it is hilarious
Hardly your fault, the “instruction” manual is practically useless. I have the cans oriented horizontally as they are in the instructions (with the belts openings on the cans toward the center of the vehicle) on top of the shelf and they sit there fine. My biggest issue with the guns is that they hardly elevate, and there is no easy way for them to be fired manually by someone standing behind the vehicle. If they had added a small part to represent a camera or sighting system between the guns, then the screen on the dash would actually make sense. Great video.
Agreed! This is so much better. I have not gotten mine yet but it is nice to know the correct way to install the ammo cache. Wondering how Hasbro missed that when they printed out the instructions.
The whole gun turret doesn't function right!!! It's kid friendly for one thing!!! Just a toy!!! But for me? The ammo feed is blocked by the center balance if this was a working miniature it wouldn't function!!! The 50 cals are not left & right units there both the same so the cocking mechanism would be blocked by the center balance on the passenger side, in the first place!!! The guns in real life would have a hoist lift left to right to feed the belt correctly!!! Those ammo cans in the upright position is correct as your statement is there !!! Other youtube viewers are obviously familiar with this assembly!!! But it's just a toy right so why do I bother with such attention to detail!!! Who knows that's just me!!! There's other complaints with this vehicle as well!!! It's definitely not HISS TANK COMPATIBLE!!! YOU DID a good review by the way!!! 👍
I received my VAMP with Clutch on Wednesday and I'm very happy with it, I haven't put it all together yet but I will, and I'm happy with my Clutch so I wouldn't mess with the figures too much, I like Clutch as it was in the box, I prefer to keep my figures as original as possible, because if I ever want to sell them in the future, at least they are still in original condition.
While the cans on the side will work fine. The way that they showed the ammo cans during the reveal is with the cans laying flat on the shelf with the ammo side facing each other and the ammo rolling outward.
Good video but the orientation on the instructions were correct. They just needed them sitting on the platform, which was not shown. The cans should be sitting flat with the belts facing inwards. That keeps the cans stable. Having them on the sides is not correct either.
The price of this jeep should make Marvel Legends fans really angry . Compared to what Hasbro was trying to charge for the Engine of Vengeance should really get under your skin . ( Here comes the excuses ) Nearly a $250 difference ? No excuse , none at all .
Hate to hit this up with more realism, and maybe gun enthusiasts can correct me, but both 50 cals look like they are the same. Can you switch the side you feed the gun bullets? I would think that the bolts would have to be reversed and the charging handles on different sides. I will not even mention how the driver is aiming this thing.
Oh, the driver aims with the monitor in the cockpit, that thing between the guns is a control unit. In GI Joe crashes are not a thing for the Joes they have mutant senses.
Subbed but in real life you was correct but you got to come up with a fantasy defense for bad design choice. They do not research much at hasbro.... You want pointing up so it does not snag in the box. They way people doing would snag and you do not want that... So you had real world right just not hasbro idiotic designed whacked right. That back end design going up awkward was designed that way cause they wanted to save money on materials cumulative. They needed to raise the back end up cause wheel area. Like the short bus ram being way to short they did to end of vamp instead. Hasbro master at corners oh wait there 2nd to mcfarlane.
It works that way, but let's face it, the design team dropped the ball on this one. The fact that you can sort of make it work by wedging them in is just dumb luck. Every other accessory--the gas cans, the shovel, the fire extinguisher all have an explicit storage place. The ammo cans simply don't. Oops on Hasbro. It's a great vehicle otherwise.
As long as your girl don't tell you you're doing it the wrong way, it's all good brother 😸
😂😂😂 never that
Gotta watch her unboxing video first!

True enough. Seems like they got in a hurry to get it out.@@RoninX33

Hahaha yeah I had to do it knowing she hated him in the comics
This video is going to help a lot of people.
Thanks for dropping knowledge on us.
It’s OK bro we all make mistakes. I love the fact that you posted the video to correct it. It’s humbling and respected in this community.
I’m just happy the comments went easy on me for the first time making an error 😂

Thank you so much for this video! Such a simple fix but it works and looks so much better! Awesome!

Exactly. Each point. I hated them on the trunk. I just put them where you have them.

outback can fit grunts vest so I'm sure it would work but I don't have my vamp in hand yet, keep up the awesomeness
Right on thanks
Oh yeah that looks a lot better thanks for sharing Manny
You bet
And knowing Is half the battle! , G.I.JOE!!!
Thanks for the shoutout! I ❤ the thumbnail.
My pleasure bro.
This is a must have Hasbro is cooking real good!
Thanks, I had the same issue
Dude. I read the "instructions" and I couldn't figure it out either. Glad this video was suggested to me.

Good hack, it does look so much better IMO
Indeed it does

That chick showed up Clutch. Funny pic man.
lol it’s funny because Cover Girl hated Clutch in the comics.
@@Xmanny87 playing hard to get.
@@Xmanny87 I think after Snakes and Stalker, Clutch was my fav Joe in the comics.

Ammo Can, not ammo cache. 😁
Why do you keep calling the ammo cans ammo cache?

I’m not gonna argue that. It’s true.
In the instructions....they are in the front part of the vehicle
It's fantastic when a lover admits there wrong installing their action figure dolly accessory ammo packs to their jeep. ❤🪖
lol yeah I made a video today correcting it. I didn’t realize I was doing it the wrong way.
