    Torbjorn, my son just returned after 5 months hiking the length of New Zeland. We spent last Friday in my shop catching up. We made a few of your candle trays as well as a platoon of your Christmas Gnomes. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration! We had a wonderful time of it. Su Amigo!

    Haha, I laughed out loud by myself when I realized half your video is about making the tools for actually making the candle holder. Impressed as always Björn!

    I had a dumb moment there for a bit.I was like" that doesn't look like the picture" then I figured out you were making the tools to make the holder. Very nice.

    Started smiling after you punched the cavity for the candle with the power hammer. There you could actually see how hard the hammer hits. Couple smacks and there it is. There's no way that anyone could hit that hard even with a heavy..ish sledgehammer. Nice video once again Torbjörn!

    • @torbjornahman
      @torbjornahman  8 лет назад

      +DraGma Thanks! This is only 5mm plate...you probably could manage by hand on this, but it's nice to be able to do it quick and without multiple heats.

    simple as this tealight candle holder is it has a beauty about it thats some how so different and appealing than most other tealight candle holders. added to that you have given it a refined quality a lot of iron work misses. maybe its just the magic of candle light but i kind of feel you have added some sort of magic to this job.

    • @torbjornahman
      @torbjornahman  7 лет назад

      Ha ha, yes you have to take it a bit easy... I have cracked one or two as well. I think it depends on how smooth you make the bottom ring, so the material can travel down without catching.

  • @liveepically
    @liveepically 8 лет назад

    These look great. A little ring/adapter in the middle that would let you also use candlesticks with them would be awesome. Super beefy but a touch of class at the same time, my kind of decor.
    Now make a set of matching napkin rings so I can get the set!
