Absolute KUDOS to whoever is picking out the music lately!!! Beautiful during the arrangement making!!! I could have that playing in the background all day long!!!! GORGEOUS arrangement! ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi, Laura! I just want to say that watching your video is a personal tradition. I discovered your channel when I was in Florida. I left the US in 2022 and lived in the Philippines for 2 years and continued to watch. I am now in Russia by myself. Thanks to vpn, I am able to continue with the tradition and your videos are keeping me company. I am enjoying your videos very much. I am not even a gardener nor do I have a garden where I am at. I am a physics major who loves to watch gardening-related videos. My favorite word of yours is "menagerie". :)
That arrangement is beautiful! The oranges spilling along the bottom give it such a poetic look. You have such a great eye and execution with floral arrangements. Just love it!
Who else is definitely growing heirloom mums this next year? I know I am. I'm even thinking of getting a polytunnel now. This arrangement is super stunning! Beautiful job Laura! 😍
Absolutely stunning!!! The flowers are beautiful but THAT MUSIC took it to a whole other level❤. It’s amazing what the background music can do to or for a video!! You just can’t beat the piano & violin for stirring emotions. Thank you for ALL the beauty in your video❤
So pretty - all of them but I absolutely love the yellow powder puff - OMG so happy, cheerful and beautiful. I love the Mellow Moon too - Powder Puff and Mellow Moon would look great together - what a bridal bouquet they would make. Gertrude and Savannah Chalton are also great. I love the coppery Oberlin matched with the Apricot colored one. Loved the music - such a good choice for this video.
The colors of fall. Beautiful arrangement. I'm thinking this video was made days ago,for Susan was up early showing her gardens with the fresh fall of snow. It was stunning. She poetically described so many plants with snow blanketing them. As others are commenting, the music set the mood. Aw yes, winter is upon us.
I felt so relaxed while watching you gather things and put together that beautiful arrangement. Thank you for giving me the gift of peace this morning.
Laura , they’re just beautiful mums, I started watching on fb and thought , so quiet no music …then remembered how many times fb dings you for music! I switched to RUclips and …great music while cutting and arranging your bouquet, thanks for sharing 😍😍😍
Laura, just a note to say that I have planted black hawthorn berries 1st time because the dryed ones I bought on Amazon make awesome tea when steeped 15 minutes. The tea actually boosts immunity, so there's that. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Absolutely beautiful! You, my dear Laura, are a non-conformist in your design. So nice to share your form of beauty to help expand the eye of all designers and encourage all. Thank YOU for sharing.
I was told by a garden center to prune my mums numerous time to encourage branching. Last prune should be done on 4 July. Bonus is creating new plants by sticking cuttings in the ground. Great job Laura.
I so look forward to joining you on your heirloom mum growing journey! I have grown potted mums professionally for the last two years at the Lan Su Chinese Garden in Portland and I am always so impressed at their resilience and longevity! And yes, they can be put through the wringer! 😆
We've watched you make so many flower arrangements over the years Laura , each time it's such a pleasure ! The music was the perfect accompaniment to your beautiful artistry!
Mums are so underrated! I love the arrangement and all the textural elements you added to the mums, it's so beautiful. That container reminds me of something your mom would have told you that you needed to have while shopping together on one of your antiquing outings, it is really perfect for that arrangement. great job!!! 🍂🦌🏵🍁
You're gonna probably think that this is weird, but I can smell this video!! 🤭 When I did floristry, in the fall, the mums had such a strong smell that I can still remember it to this day. They are so lovely.
I live in Fl zone 9b and I have still learned so much from you. When I talk about you I always refer to you as bestie 😊 You're my garden bestie and I appreciate you and the team and all the time you take to share your knowledge! Thank you for all you do.
It was so nice to see those Heritage Mums. Going to order some for my garden. They are hard to find these days. They brought back some fond memories. I remember the big "Football" Mums that we gave the girls for the Homecoming Dance every year. They wore them to the football game and then to the Homecoming Dance after the game.
Love the way you put together arrangements! So natural using other garden interest… leaves, branches, twigs & berries! I have a few perennial mums in my garden and love how they extend the bloom season!
Beautiful arrangement. If you glued some straws onto one side of some orange slices, it could make a nice spike! I can't wait to see the mums after they are established!
Beautiful mums and so many stunning varieties. Wondering if you pinch your mums back until July like my research tells me to do? It's obvious that I didn't pinch mine back enough because they are very leggy and falling over. Please teach us how to keep them more tidy and not so leggy. The airy style of your bouquet is beautiful.
That was beautifully done. The mums you picked are all the ones I liked the best. 😂and the branches took it over the top. Then the music was the chefs kiss 🤌🏼
Your form is lovely but then someone that likes another form would make one equally as lovely because that is what their eye would go toward. Thank goodness that there are many talented people 😊
Your fall arrangement with the new Mums and other natural elements like the Hawthorn berries and golden Birch leaves is stunning! Well done. Even like the use of the older preserved orange slices! Good work!
Stunning arrangement!! Y’all are getting snow and here in the Texas panhandle, we STILL haven’t gotten our first freeze. Ugh. 😩 It used to snow so much here…but not anymore. Like 32” at a time. We get maybe half an inch IF it snows now. Just crazy…and sad.
Oh my ! Another stunning fall arrangement, brightening our life everyday with your new videos. Watching your videos heal my wilted soul , wounded heart and sorrows, it's been a happy pill to my life. Thank you Laura 😊
Your arrangement is really beautiful. And your mums are too. I know they are long lasting thank you for all the beaty you share. And you got 2 gorgeous kids too. 🦋💐
Thank you Laura! Aaron should also be pleased seeing this colourful arrangement! I love the berries to complement this stunning flashing togetherness!❤
Absolutely beautiful and whimsical. So relaxing watching you put the arrangement together while listening to such wonderful music. I’m headed outside to see what I can cut today for my own arrangement. Thank you.
Such a beautiful arrangement - you're so talented with the colours and plants you choose. Love watching all your videos as your property evolves and expands with the large hardscaping projects, and then we still learn from all the daily things you do like decorating with flowers and putting up your Xmas trees etc. Thank you😊
That is a gorgeous fall arrangement and the orange looks like a piece of jewelry tuck in. The music 🎵 is beautiful and pleasant to listen to while watching you arrange.
That salmon colored bloom is gorgeous! And i really love the way you found everything you needed around your property. That would be a fun challenge...decorating the house for fall using only what grows on the property.
Melancholy feel to the music, which goes with this time of year... absolutely lovely arrangement and I know you enjoy taking foliage from your own garden rather than having to drive out to forage it. 🌿
Love how your mums are thriving in the high tunnel. Your bouquet looked gorgeous and I love that the dried orange slices made an appearance. So beautiful! How about using the remainder of the orange slices on a few wreathes with cinnamon sticks to decorate your covered porch? I saw it in one of your past videos for ideas.
Yes, Yes, Yes......the music with this video is perfect! And why I watch and love to see her doing arrangements...it relaxes me and calms my soul....Thank YOU!
Thank you so much, Laura, for your video today!! I had a flower arrangement that had a few chrysanthemums and other flowers that weren’t doing well. I picked some loropetelum branches, mountain salvia, and some aging hydrangea blooms! Put them with the chrysanthemums and wow! So very pretty! Thank you so much for the inspiration!!
Beautiful flower arrangement Laura. 😃 Note to the editor...you choose the most wonderful music for these videos. I loved the acoustic guitar music you have used in some of the prior videos too. 👍 🌿🌸🌿
The arrangement, in conjunction with the music, gave the essence of Autumn’s last moments of pleading. Persephone’s final smile to mankind as she enters the underworld, leaving us with Winter. As gardeners, the retinue of Demeter, we wish we could convince her to stay with us, but alas, Hades claims all - even her. 🍂 How fitting that snow was forecasted for you the following day. Balance in all things.
Hi Laura and all, I planted a couple of “Raspberry Sorbet” hardy mums last year and they had a few blooms. This year they really filled out and are in full bloom, mid November! Really pretty daisy type with lavender-pink petals and bright yellow centers look beautiful with our first light snowfall. Not sure if they are an heirloom variety, they had a nice compact growth in the summer, but now their long, 24” billowy stems are perfect for cutting. I’d highly recommend! Zone 6 SW Ohio.
Beautiful chrysanthemums! I don’t think most people, who only see ‘mums in a florist or grocery store display, know how they grow… except for the highly groomed and shaped ‘fall’ ones! Question on different topic… will you be doing your church’s Christmas display again? It was such a blessing to see you using your wide variety of skills in service to the Lord thru your church!
Gorgeous Laura. Stag vase was perfect and I love your Hartley. Such a tranquil place to read a book and have that peaceful music in the background. Cup of coffee at the table and I would be in heaven. xx
I find great joy in harvesting my garden to make fresh arrangements. It's like an ode to the garden for it's ever amazing generosity through every season. Using the elements at hand from Birch, Rose, Hawthorne and Crabapple made a wonderful "cage" for supporting your Mums. The added interest of color and texture from these supporting cast members was the cherry on top! Well done Laura, I hope you enjoyed the process as much as we viewers 💚
Absolute KUDOS to whoever is picking out the music lately!!! Beautiful during the arrangement making!!! I could have that playing in the background all day long!!!! GORGEOUS arrangement! ❤❤❤❤❤
Oh my goodness what a stunning arrangement and the violin and piano music just beautiful

This arrangement is beautiful…and the instrumental that played along side was perfection. 🥰
Yes, the soft piano and weeping violin made it more beautiful

You are SUCH a talent! Beautiful! And whomever chooses your music definitely has an ear. Hit all the feels. 😢

Prune up to July 4th is what I was taught over 30 years ago also.
Wow -just gorgeous and the music too! From the first branch it was mesmerizing to watch the artist at work.
I so look forward to joining you on your heirloom mum growing journey! I have grown potted mums professionally for the last two years at the Lan Su Chinese Garden in Portland and I am always so impressed at their resilience and longevity! And yes, they can be put through the wringer! 😆

I had no doubt whatsoever that the arrangement would be anything but stunning. I love the berries and all the colors ❤
The music is GOLD!!!!!! The arrangement came up beautifully! ❤

Or wooden skewers! What a great idea - a dried orange lollipop 😊
Thanks for the inspiration Laura. I love that you used natural elements from your garden with those beautiful mums 💐

Spectacular arrangement! I love the more natural look too. The music added that sort of nostalgic feeling of fall fading.

I think that Fall arrangement is my favorite of all the ones you've made so far. 🧡❤💚💛
Love the colors together! I like how you arrange flowers, a modern look than the tired old bouquets you see everywhere.
Absolutely gorgeous arrangement. I could watch Laura make flower arrangements all day long.

Love, love the wildness and colors against the gray sky outside!
. I love the more natural graceful appearance in a flower vase. Look more like nature. Beautiful ❤️
Beautiful! I am wondering how tall those mums will be when planted in your raised beds and will they hit the ceiling?
That is a gorgeous fall arrangement and the orange looks like a piece of jewelry tuck in. The music 🎵 is beautiful and pleasant to listen to while watching you arrange.
Have six raised beds ready for Spring planting. Putting daffodils and garlic into beds as PNW cyclone leaves the area.
Laura is such a joy to follow.
I love when you make floral arrangements! You have such beautiful taste! So satisfying to watch!!
Love the music choice and just watching you form the arrangement was so peaceful and inspiring!! The arrangement is gorgeous!!

Lovely arrangement Laura. You really have an eye for floral combinations both in the landscape or a vase.🙂
You have such an eye for floral arrangements. I love your natural style. I loved all the beautiful mums!
The bouquet is stunning! I wasn’t impressed with the Mums seeing them in the cold frame , but in a bouquet I can see now why you’d want them !
The mums are beautiful. Love the arrangement with all the natural elements. 🙌🤩😍
THE YELLOW ONES POWDER PUFF
BEAUTIFUL!!!
