I swear, every time you go bank fishing you make me nervous. Always find the hardest places to go to. Still love the videos though. They NEVER disappoint.

Those rip rap rocks are horrible to walk over. I bet there are bigger Walleye right there. like you I really don’t want to be around people when I fish. I enjoy the space and quiet

They would call it catching if you caught monsters every cast! Thanks for "the struggle" video, you caught way more than I did, which was zero. Of course I did not leave the house! Love the content and really like that rod carrier you were using in the video Thanks also for the thumbs up at the end, you always make my day when I get time to watch videos.

I sold over 1000 floats in a week, buddy. I had to make a couple videos showing people how to rig them because most people have never seen anything that looks like that. But that's out of the way and we are back to fishing.

@@ifishcatfishhonestly remember last year asking how you rig your bobbers and you told me to wait for a video and it finally came. I now know how to use both styles when the time comes. Time to whip out my 8’ Presso lol

@ifishcatfish yup I was having some good luck on them under the float the other day, usually I use a trout magnet float if I'm casting somewhere super snaggy but if I'm fidhing ontop a brush pile I use one of your floats

Victor. I just found your channel less than 2 weeks ago. You and I are so much alike! I love the seclusion. I actually fish a pond that is not very productive because I like the quiet. I also used to do a lot of hiking to fish, but now that I'm 70, I can't move like I used to. I fell three weeks ago and really damaged my left wrist and my right ankle. I was carrying 6 combos. Totaled one. 7 foot St. Croix lite and a NASCI 1000. I replaced it with a 6' 6" TFP PAnfish II and a Stradic FM 1000. Would love to use some of the equipment you use, but I'm afraid it's a bit out of my price range. Love your videos and equipment reviews. I definitely plan on purchasing a couple of your jig and matching bobber kits soon, as well as some reel grease! (I've mentioned you a couple of times on other channels I watch. Hope it brings you some business!) Just need to wait for the right time. My birthdays coming first week of May. Maybe I'll get some $$$'s to invest! Blessings!

Thank you for the kind words - i appreciate that.
As far as float fishing goes, ... i have always done it with budget tackle. Yesterday i caught 100 trophy bluegill with a $60 Presso and $50 Kastking reel. Felt just as good to me. We can't forget that fishing is the goal, and tackle is the means to the goal, not a goal itself

@@ifishcatfish I agree 100%. Since I retired, I did want to "enjoy" my fishing more. So I started upgrading my 40 plus year old equipment (in some cases) to newer, higher tech, and lighter weight components. Taking in reviews and then just how some of the rods and reels felt in my hand at the store. Then, I spent as much as I felt I could afford to get the best light tackle expeience I could afford. I was so glad to move upwards and evntually topped out my ultra lite line up with a Stradic FL 1000 and a Dobyns 6' 2" Sierra Series Ultra Lite. Love it and... I also made some of my own little "bugs" to try and up my catches at the pond I fish in. Fishing is VERY tough there. My second cast with my homemade bug, fished weightless, I caught a nice bluegill. A cast or two later I landed a bass that was most likely around 5 lbs. I had to "beach" him after about a five minute fight because she would have broken line and possibly the rod if I tried to pick her up. My point is... that was fun! I don't know if my older drag would have handled the fight. ..I also caught a few fish on one of my 40 plus year old ultra lite setups last week. They were also fun! An old 5' Fenwick Eagle Ultra Lite with a clunky Daiwa SS 700 reel. That 700 reel was the most expensive reel I had ever bought at the time. $70 I believe. (1985 or so). Keep up the good work and info. Blessings!

I didn't try it due to trying out my new Airity ST SF. But it is real pretty with better guides. I think he said it was going to retail at $199. I can't wait for the release and your review.
