Exactly! You're just human, we all make mistakes. Especially with money for it's one one of the trickiest aspects of life to deal with. There was a study in France years ago that showed that, after a couple of years, 85% of the people who win the lottery end up poorer than they were prior to winning. It's really hard not to get carried away and know the ins and outs of every single financial commitments. That's why companies have accountancy firms to work with them because it's a minefield. And you are doing all the right things learning from your mistakes and genuinely working hard to fix them. The people criticising you should first have a closer at their own lives because it's easy to point at the mistakes when you're not on stage but shaming the actors doesn't make you a better person.

Maria Please don't stress over the car. No car is a good investment, as soon as you drive it off the lot it depreciates in value immediately making it worth less then what you paid/are paying for it. Taking care of it and making last years beyond the payment cycle period is when it will start paying off. Think if you care for it, and keep it in good shape you could have years and years with it once the payments are over. If you sold it now and took the loss on it and bought another car, the cycle will just start over. Making mistakes in life is a way of learning and growing from your experiences. I hate to see you sad. I think you are wonderful loving person, who deserves joy. You have many people who care for you .
Fact. keep the car regularly maintained, and drive that car till it dies. no point in selling a decent car to buy a cheap car you'll just dump money into trying to repair.
I've done that. spent $2000 on a car just to eventually put over $3000 worth of work into it. ugh!

Maintaining a Mercedes is really REALLY expensive! I know somebody that had one, and he got rid of it for that reason. Now he drives a ford.
I have been in a trap of older cars for a while and they cost a lot to maintain too eventually as you constantly have to fix something. I always look to upgrade a bit when buying the next car. I am always thankful for having a car that works 😁
They just cause us headache anyway, be they old or new. Don't let the car get you down! You bring joy and calm to so many of us. That is your gift and it's precious beyond any financia mistakes.

I grew up in Communist Romania, back in the '80s, surrounded by doctors and military, due to my parents. My family was very down to earth, pragmatic and atheistic. It baffled me why people, as they grow older, become more religious, or more spiritual, let's say. It wasn't until my mid 20's when I started asking questions beyond the limitation of my knowledge.
Then, I passed through a lot of moments in my life, moments that made me slow down and think about the bigger picture. I started reading, researching, chewing on information through my own "filters", coming to conclusions.
However, it wasn't until I had a dream, a few years ago, a dream that absolutely changed my life and perspective, when I could truly embrace what I was feeling. I dreamed that I was floating around in the Universe. Through Nebulae, seeing planets, constellations, millions and millions of places and colors and lights. The more I traveled through it, the bigger it got. And then, it happened: I stopped on a little, tiny little rock in the middle of this space, and kneeled. I had this overwhelming sensation of peace, respect. All I could do was to be silent, humble and cry. The majesty of what was in front of me, understanding that I am nothing but a single atom of a cell that in itself, is part of a bigger organism, the vastness of power, life and knowledge that is out there, was literally breathtaking. To me, that is God. I do not understand God as it is written in books or religion. To me, faith is something very personal, and each individual understands it differently, resonates to the concept in a different note.
When you were speaking about nature, it reminded me of this dream I had, because I had the same feelings. Look around you, everything is connected, everything has a meaning and a purpose. It escalates, each tiny cell, being part of a bigger thing, that thing being a cell in the next level, and so on, fractals. We are all stardust, we are all walking universes in ourselves.
I am happy you feel the way you feel. Usually, sensitive people like yourself, have a tendency to see the magic that is happening all around us, every day. Magic that passes unseen to the ignorant eye, but that has such a big impact on each of us. Seeing the beauty, the majesty in things, seeing the bigger picture through tiny little details is what keeps us going. Fuels us. Those small little sparks of beauty can soothe and energize us like nothing else, if only we allow ourselves to see.
As for you not asking for us to solve your problems, but rather just listen, I understand that completely. I am going to make a parallel with my field of expertise, psychology, in which every therapist needs their own therapist. On a more empirical level, I have been the friend who listens to everyone else's problems, but no one would listen to me back, and I know how it feels to need to just let it out. It's so good to be able to just let out some of that pressure, some of the weight, to be able to carry on. Someone else picks it up, and drops it elsewhere and the cycle continues. It goes back to what I was saying earlier, through another perspective.
At the end of this, you will be much wiser. Much stronger. Thank you for soothing us down, every night, I do hope that you find peace as well. Thank you for letting us into your world, tormented as it is, right now. It's only the bravest that can strip the armor and reveal themselves at their weakest, saying "this is who I am".

Sometimes we forget how blessed we are, we live in a world that doesn't value mindfulness. But you Maria, you experience mindfulness and that is a true gift.
You are such a strong and inspirational woman! It's not easy to admit our mistakes and not many people do. But not only are you owning your bad decisions, but you're literally learning from them by taking the initiative to further educate yourself in places you feel are weaknesses to you. Not many people have that will and determination! You should be PROUD of yourself!
I don't think you are stupid, its hard to be an adult.. We learn along the way on how to manage these things that are new to us. Don't ever say that. Ah Maria, you are so very lovely. 5 years ago I went bankrupt after my marriage ended and I lost my job shortly after that. I lost everything, including my house. When I met my new partner he was in loads of debt, we've spent five years working our butts off to get our finances straight and we are now debt free and three months ago we had the most beautiful wedding which we paid for upfront. You will get through these times, you are not stupid and you will learn from these things. I'm grateful for the difficult times I've had because they've taught me a valuable lesson and my future will benefit from that lesson. You really are wonderful and I adore all of your videos. When a child learns to walk, no one would ever judge the child for falling down in the process or call it a 'mistake'. It's just a part of learning how to walk. As grown ups we can walk but we still have to learn how to think and feel. To love unconditionally, to trust life, to see the goodness, to be free from so many things. There is nothing wrong with you, you are amazing how you are meant to be :) I love nature, too. It' so healing and calming.

The dealership is never going to give you what it is actually worth, because they need to turn around and resell it and still make a profit. If you sell it private sale you might be able to break even :)
I would also try to sell it in private sale. Dealerships are great for buying, but moneywise, not for selling. Of course it is easier because you don't need to search for a buyer yourself but that only costs time and effort.
Also, you're telling me there isn't some fan out there who wouldn't buy it? Maybe that'a too creepy?

Pretty sure they just have a whisper off. They take turns using asmr to put the other to sleep. The first person to fall asleep, loses. As of today, only Maria has been victorious.

Maria, I completely understand what you were saying in the woods. Sometimes I get the urge as well, to walk through the woods to just experience life. What you said wasn't crazy, it was just you being overwhelmed with the realization of how many plants, animals, and people experience the world in ways different to you but at the same time they're experiencing the same world. It's always a good thing to let out your emotions, and you should never feel the need to apologize for them! Honesty and openness are refreshing changes compared to those who deceive and hide. Those who hide from others are really hiding from themselves. Life is a classroom and we are the students. Hey Maria. I understand your stress over money problems. I own a house I'm underwater on, yes it's kind a bad feeling. The truth about money problems is very similar to weight problems --- there's no quick fix, it's all about a lifestyle change and small increments over a long time that add up until you finally reach the point you want to be at in a sustainable way. Everyday you just have to spend less. And don't think of it as denying yourself the things you want, think of it as a gift to your future self. Every sacrifice you make today is a step towards a future Maria who has the personal and financial freedom she wants. ❤️
And also Maria (I'm thinking about you!), you've got to stop beating yourself up. There is nothing wrong with admitting that you've made mistakes and learning from them, but hashing them over and over is just disempowering. It just makes you feel guilty and that you don't have what it takes to make the needed changes, but you do! If you had a friend who had gained weight and felt bad about it, would you let her wallow, saying that she's so stupid how could she have made these mistakes? No! You'd tell her she can change, it's just going to take some time and work. Recognize where you went wrong, but live everyday for future Maria. You can do it! You are a wonderful, introspective person-- use that to your advantage. Maybe you spent too much money, but the whole time you've also been a kind and sensitive person and a loving daughter and girlfriend, and that's what really matters. Good luck, lady. I've had a similar experience hiking to a waterfall in Helen, GA (Raven Cliff Falls if you ever want to visit.) I just had this overwhelming feeling to pray, and just thank God for the beauty around me. I cried, and walked, and played in the stream. I'll never forget it! Thank you for sharing!

Matilda Melin- It is such a shame, but unfortunately Maria had to close her P.O. box due to idiotic numsculls sending inappropriate packages. It's a bummer because it was a way for us to interact with her and send her gifts for the wonderful things she does for us. It's sad, but it's just the way our world is now.
You're such a kind and sensitive person! When I was in Canada I saw a beautiful little stream trickling from the rocks above and I started crying. When you're connected to nature in that way it's so special. I know exactly what you're talking about and how you feel about nature. Everything is energy. Everything has vibration. Maria, your walk in the woods is a display of gratitude that most people only think in their minds but hesitate to share. For you to verbalize the woods with such sincere passion and disbelief is a what I imagine God would want for us. Few people can be so in awe of Gods creation but you do it here and I find it endearing but also, if I were God and saw a human be brought to tears by the magnitude of the world all around us it would probably make me cry with joy as well. Like the Louis Armstrong song says," I see sky's of blue, clouds of white, you see it too, what a wonderful sight, and I think to myself: what a wonderful world." You are a special person, with an eye for the majestic in the seemingly mundane world and heart full of gratitude for the life you have been given just to experience Gods gifts of creation. Dear Maria, first I LOVE the background music you play in these videos. Then... I am so sorry that you are hurting and dealing with so many issues of debt. It can be so overwhelming and stressful. I too have been where you are, and there are no easy answers. I believe we are heading for a major world wide finical collapse. Maybe that will help. I do not think you are crazy... I just watched a TED talk called "How Trees Talk to Each Other". It was so amazing how there are mother trees who have their roots deeply connected to their offspring trees and grow in ways that they protect them. Opened my eyes and heart to a whole new way of seeing the mother in Mother Nature.

maria, you are your own worst critic and that makes me sad because i wish you would realize what pretty much all of your subscribers see! how much of a humble, beautiful, intelligent, and just wonderful human being you are. You are one of my favorite people on the entire planet and you've done so much for me since 2012 when i found your channel! don't be so hard on yourself, it takes a real person to realize their mistakes and try figure out how to improve them, if anything you should be very proud of yourself! we wouldn't be human if we didn't make mistakes. I'm a firm believer in that everything happens for a reason and it may take years after the situation occurred for you to realize why it happened to you or it can take a day. tomorrow you could wake up and everything could be different you never know (in a positive way of course). A few things I've learned in 2016 are that things happen for a reason and expect the unexpected. Theres so much more to life than people realize if they open up to it. I'm gonna stop rambling but we love and care for you so much! everything will improve with time :)
