My Sons happy as he's seen in this video a few times. Will it was fantastic to catch up with you at this Train show. I'm out of action video wize after my Mac Studio Display blew up in a very dramatic way. Luckily I captured it all on camera. Very scary event I would wish it upon no one. At this show I really fell in love with Blue Mountains. Apart from it's sheer size I loved how the sandstone batter walls were depicted. If I ever get back a video editing system I will do a mini feature about you in my look at this train show. But at the moment don't hold your breath. The Mac Studio Display failure has really set me back. Only 18 months old and its now $2500 up in smoke.
Leo it was excellent to finally meet you at the exhibition, and I hope you and your son enjoyed it! I'm very sorry to hear about the Mac, that's a very unfortunate thing to have happen, and I hope Apple can offer some sort of solution for you, and I hope your back to making videos as soon as! Once again, thank you so much for saying hello, it truly made my weekend!
@@WillJamesRailways As it stands Apple are giving me a full refund. Genius bar staff have seen the graphic video of the Display in meltdown. As the Studio Display was purchased as a bundle from Apple online the refund process sadly isn't a easy as it should be. Maybe that how Apple became a $3 Trillion dollar company. Money flows easily in but not out.
Well done, and cheers for putting Otham Road's fiddle yard as a cameo preview in the middle of Ettamogah, we at Adamstown Model Railway Club don't mind in the slightest ;)
Will, great exhibition report on a wonderful exhibition. As you say, well worth attending. You certainly need a cup of coffee when watching. Thank you for taking the time to document and share, cheers, and take care, Michael.
Nice to meet you Will at the show and Uley Junction modeled on Bodmin which is now a preserved railway in real life. At one time the preserved railway served a local industry Fitzgerald Lighting who preferred to ship their products by rail rather than road as they found one good pothole and half the load in a truck was smashed. The preserved line runs from Bodmin General to turn left and run down to Bodmin Parkway station on the west of England mainline or turns right out of Bodmin and runs down to Boscarne Junction the return runs are up steep 1 in 35-40 gradients which is most unusual for a British preserved railway. A stalwart of the line is EX GWR pannier tank 4612. Tim's video channel has a cab ride on both lines.
What a mega report! Lots of time, effort, and hard drive space went into this one! Thank you for documenting it so diligently for those of us that can't make it.
Will, Another great exhibition report from you and well worth the wait, full of a great video and info of each different layout. I watch the video and 2 cup of coffee later came to the understanding that maybe I should fly over from Perth to see this Show in the coming years. Hopefully the AMRA Victoria's Model Train Show and Sunshine is just as good as this show Hope fully will catch up with you in Melbourne during the Show yet again well put together video and info.
As a Dungog resident; the layout presented is a really good recreation; although I wasnt alive to see this period in history.. It’s nice to see it brought back alive in scale form
That was an awesome show mate, good to see you there and say hello. Was back at Rosehill last week for the Electrox show ( which was half the size of this one), looking forward to next year. Please keep up the good videos Best regards Andrew
Wow what an exhibition! Your not wrong when you say if there is one exhibition you should go to a year it's this one. Maybe next year I might make the trip up.
1st time going to Sydney show, it was well organised. My standout layouts where Luneburg Chamatiago & Southwestern and Luneburg. Different to Vic and SA shows with most Layouts being modeled on nsw. Could have split the video into a Part 1 and Part 2
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed it and those layouts! It really is the best exhibition! I won’t be splitting videos, I think it’s better and easier to find if it’s in one place. All the layouts are marked in the slider and notes. Which makes it easier to come back to in the future! I do appreciate the suggestion but I won’t be doing it!
Just watch the monthly model railway news that comes out of the 1st of every month on this channel! I included every exhibition and open day and it gets updated monthly!
I think this show needs more OO9 Will... ;-) Just on a practical note, while it is great to have such comprehensive coverage of the show, a long video is harder to move around if you're trying to look at one of the shorter featured layouts. Maybe consider dividing it into 2 vids next time. Great footage though.
Appreciate the cost and effort that has gone into this presentation. Invaluable for folks that can not travel to these shows. Thanks Will.
Thank you Lee!

Where do i obtain notifications of TRAIN SHOWS?
Just watch the monthly model railway news that comes out of the 1st of every month on this channel! I included every exhibition and open day and it gets updated monthly!
Your timestamp at 1:15:30 is wrongly labelled :)
All fixed!

I agree!
I appreciate the feedback, but I won’t be spitting videos, but everything is marked and can always be come back to!
