Good to see Australian model trains in Australia, so much we can learn in the UK about modern heavy goods and double-decker trains, and seeing these excellent models is a pleasure.
I haven't been to a Canberra exhibition since 2019, but have always enjoyed my visit to that exhibition, a great show for the modellers of that region! Yendy's is without doubt one of my favourite layouts on the NSW scene! For many years it was rare to find a decent layout depicting a Sydney suburban scene with the electric railway and prototype trains of that system.
Nice video Will. I noticed that there is a number of N scale layouts it just shows that N scale is becoming very popular. And the Glasson O scale layout was awesome.
Will. Thanks so much for your great coverage of this show, I mean exhibition. Some great photography. Some wonderful N scale layouts. Your photography really helps show the expansive scenes that some have modeled, which is where N really can shine. Sure do appreciate your efforts mate! Ta very much from the states!
Will, great exhibition report. I was surprised by the number of N Scale layouts, not sure if they are concentrated in Canberra, or are just becoming more popular. Lots of really good layouts, and you have certainly covered them nicely. Thank you for sharing, cheers, and take care, Michael
Great coverage of the show will. I am puzzled as to why our australian model railway magazines can not find the time or resources to go to our shows and cover our great hobby. They seem to only cover NSW or VIC content. At least you try to advance the hobby to all and on a limited budget you have vision but they are old and stale. Well done.
Thanks for this video. Makes me sad that I was not able to make it this year. Was a bit sad that my building on Yendys was only seen for a couple of seconds. 😢
Great Job Will. Was the Japanese layouts Rokuhan ? I was 6 in 1965 and remember standing in Harris st Ultimo Watching a small steam train strain ing up the incline parallel to Harris street near the old post office
Great video Will. Are there any links where I can find out more about the Aus HO Freemo standard? I'm starting to build my own little modular layout and would like to create some to a standard that might allow me to show them to others. I'm mostly UK OO-focused but looking at a few VR locos too.
I mean if they can’t get the K class out (announced 2007) or any other new models or reruns (50 class, 38, AD60 etc) I don’t have much hope for a rerun. They also don’t responded to any correspondence. I honestly wouldn’t expect anything!

Thanks for covering this exhibition, and greetings from the Kingsview Model Railway!

A great video covering a great expo. This was my first visit to Canberra and it did not disappoint.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Will, seems like a great show. Might have to make the trek up the freeway one year to check it out!
Certainly has been worth the trip the last two times! I reckon I’ll be back!
Once again Will another great video and info from you about a Model railway Exhibition. Kept up the good work many thanks yet again

Hello, sorry if I missed coverage of the layout in more depth, it is in a number of other videos if that helps!
All brilliant layouts, but my ears pricked up at the Freemo layout! Cheers & thx Will
You and me both!

I think there’s some Facebook groups but unfortunately a lot of them aren’t actually active!
Nice vid. Any news on another run of the Eureka Models AD60?

@@WillJamesRailways That hits hard mate, hard. Thanks for the info. though. Really enjoy the channel.
10:49 does anyone know where I could find an N-Scale C38? I've been looking for a while and can only find it in HO. Any hints are appreciated.
There’s been a few resin kits over the years and some people have 3D printed them.
However I hear rumours of a RTR one in N, but nothing set in stone!
The Garrets in the boxes at 49:00 mark what retailer was that as im interested in buying one
Eurkra Models. These are old and usually damaged ones. I would personally try the second hand market
Why are you putting an "r" in Kato????????
Was aware I was doing it! I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks for watching!!!!!!!!!
