Thank you all for your honest opinion. I cruise a lot with RC. This will be my first time on this ship. My kids will be coming with me. However they have enough sense to not act a fool..lol
I have only sailed on Carnival and would like to try a different cruise line. What would you recommend. My husband and I are in our mid 50's and love great shows, music and excursions. This was my first time viewing your channel and i truly enjoyed it. Loved the pros and cons. You may have mentioned it but what ports did you stop at and did you like the cabin? Thank you.
I just subscribed and just cruised on my first Royal Caribbean cruise Odyssey of the Seas i give it a 6 didnt like that it was not very much at night to do sort of dry compared to other ships ive been on no adult water slides limited outdoor movies which u could not see due to palm trees blocking beautiful ship good food awesome staff

My favorite part of the Quantum class was the "bus stop" where I could smoke and not bother anyone.
Thanks for the video. My husband and I will be celebrating our 15 year anniversary on the Odyssey of the Seas March 2, 2024 sailing. Our 10 year anniversary we celebrated on the Symphony of the Seas which is our favorite ship too. This is during spring break but maybe most families with kids will be on the Icon. We’ll be fine either way.

Fabulous Ship and our Spring Break this year was April7-14. its usually towards the end of April.
As a Florida resident most of the counties have Spring Break one week in March but not all of the countieshave their break during the same week. The colleges and universities vary as to when their term ends. However, thousands of people from all over flock to Florida during their Spring Break... some may cruise and some might not. Over the years it has appeared to me that all of March is busy with tourist and part of April (depending on Easter). The week before Easter and the week after Easter seem to be the busiest. I could be wrong. We will be going on the Odyssey in December 2023. We will be going on another Carnival for a family reunion in June 2024.
Western Washington spring break is usually the first week of April.
I have been on the Odyssey twice when there very few kids. Once when school was in session last week in October and second time week of New Year Eve which was great time on that ship to Aruba.
We had that happen on Enchantment OTS, kids taking over the hot tubs I wasn't to happy, they need to do something about that.
I am booked for April 2024 for the odyssey of the seas 😊We are so ready we just got off the Freedom of the seas last week was our first cruise we are Addicted 😊
For the Odyssey when were you able to book onboard experiences such as the shows? Glad to hear that this ship has more pros then cons.

This year in Miami,Fl Spring Break for schools was March 20-24

Spring Break up north is typically the 1st or 2nd week in April. My area of GA after relocating is the 1st week of April. We are sailing this ship this summer and I look forward to the kids since I have an only child 😮😂. I know Im probably in the minority lol. Thanks for the review.
We never cruise from mid-March thru mid-April!
Yeah lack of supervision was probably the main issue. In my area of TN spring break was the third week of March. My son is now teaching so that’s typically when we cruise spring and fall break. Fall break is the 2nd week of October.

Was this a Caribbean cruise? We have a trip planned next month for the Greek isles. Hoping it’s more of an adult atmosphere but it’s also summer vacation.

You guys really had a lot of negative things to say about children. Maybe you guys didn’t notice but Royal Caribbean allows children of all ages so this is to be expected when booking a Royal cruise. Just a tip, it turns us followers that do have children and are responsible parents to get turned off by your content especially since every other comment was about how you basically hated having kids around. You have the right to say your opinion but maybe one comment about the kids situation would have been enough. If you don’t want kids around maybe Virgin Voyages would be a better fit for y’all.
We apologize if it came off strong. It wasn’t just kids, it was a lot of unruly behavior that the parents were allowing. We don’t mind having kids on the cruise at all. It’s the lack of supervision that was an issue on this particular trip.
Sorry but when I pay my money I want to RELAX on my cruise;
Parents should control their children and not ruin the cruise for others.
Having said that, I enjoyed being around well behaved children on a cruise, one young lad I talked to was very funny and intelligent.
Sorry but you’re not the only one that’s spends your money on a vacation. Families with children also spend money to take vacations WITH their children. The good thing about Royal is that they have an adults only section. If you want to go relax, then go there. I agree that some parents can be a little bit more relaxed then others and they don’t discipline their kids but unfortunately you cannot control everyone and If you truly want to relax on vacation then go to an adults only resort or cruise like Virgin Voyages. Realistically, you can’t expect to go on a cruise line that allows all ages to be accommodating to only your needs. It’s just unrealistic.

Just like you said "Maybe Virgin would be a better fit for them", Maybe a page that would be happy with unsupervised bad a$$ kids would be better for you. Y'all are so whiny about children when they literally are not being watched by their parents.Yes you are on vacation but you are still a parent.

Dang. Rough review. If I want to avoid kids I guess I will opt for a cruise designed for older folks.
The was a lot of unsupervised behavior on this particular trip. I think part of the problem was lack of things for them to do.
