    I have sailed on MSC several times and have had an amazing times. Sorry you felt this way. That’s why everyone should try things for themselves. I would have missed out on great cruises if I would have just said no because someone else didn’t like something.

      We have enjoyed many of our MSC trips, it was just a bad experience on this ship and the response of the crew that was not unique to just our sailing. I would sail again, just not this ship.

      I just got off the seascape 8/13-8/20 my cruise was amazing everyway. Wow fight for your meal every single a biy much. Its crazy. Wow! Msc is amazing seascape amazing dinning rooms are always open for breafast and dinner please don't come back abeg. People embarkation day was a breeze for us the storage space and closet good enough for 2 yes the bathroom was small but i didn't experience the extra small bathroom experience our room was 15184. The elevator was a mess the first 2 days and during dinner besides that its a breeze i always went to the back of the ship elevators. Guys stop watching these videos and just show up. With a open mind. THIS CRUISE IS A EUROPEAN CRUISE. Americans are the minority on the seascape so its going to be different. The elevators are working and they are easy to use. Just stop and learn. I was on elevators that i wasn't suppose to be on becuase i figured out if your going to deck 16 and am on 15 i am willing to just walk down or up 1 flight of stairs. My experience was great.

      We are on the seascape right now, and everything they said is true. This ship is horrible, the food is even worse. I had to get a manager for us to get dinner last night. So maybe this crew has an issue with certain ppl. As a travel agent and frequent cruiser, I will never recommend this ship to my clients.

      There is nothing “real” about this review. This review is full of embellishments. I love how they “didn’t want to cause a scene” yet they yelled in the lobby. Lol

    Thanks for the review! I just booked MSC for Thanksgiving. The price was good but after hearing multiple passenger experiences...I'm changing my plans TODAY.

    Thank you for the pros and cons of this ship. I did notice that the cruise price is cheaper than others. I'll wait until I hear and see better views to plan my trip.

      Other cruises with them have been fine. The food has improved its just the elevator situation that really soured the trip.

    Sorry to hear you had a bad time. We went on the Seascape and had an amazing time. Great food, great service. We were treated way better than on Symphony of the Seas.

    I felt the same way too. But experience the Yacht Club and you will see a tremendous difference, like a "night and day" difference. I will not book a client on MSC unless it's the Yacht Club. Nothing but praise for the Yacht Club. You even get a priority elevator!

    Such a similar experience when we sailed MSC in April… we have even more complaints but, so many valid points you guys have made. Totally uninterested in sailing MSC in the future.     We just got off the Seascape three hours ago. This was my 22nd cruise but first on MSC. Best cruise experience ever. I actually booked two more msc cruises on the Seashore while I was on this trip.
    The elevator issue is fixed as the yacht club people no longer have priority. I concur with some of other commenters that you are trying to get a free cruise out of this video.

    As far as the rude crowd, you drop the prices and this is what you get. I rather pay a lot more to get a better crowd. Great Video

      I have to disagree with you on the fact that you think the cost of the cruise makes a difference in the type of crowed. I have known many people with lots of money who have no manners. It’s the raising of the person not the amount of money that determines how they react. Just my opinion. First MSC will be on the 8th of Oct. Here’s hoping mine goes ok.

    Negative people give negative vibes. If I listened to all comments made with so much negativity I would still not have taken my first cruise. Bottom line ....what one likes might not be someone elses cup of tea. So my advice ...find out for yourselves and forget the negative comments.

      Saw the MSC Meravigilia for NYE holiday cruise only $750/pp for balcony. Half the price of RCL and Carnival. Almost booked but didn’t-glad I saw this

    Hey Mr. & Mrs. Traveler! I am so sorry you went through this on your anniversary cruise. This is my second time hearing about MSC and how it is not living up to cruisers expectations. Another content creator had a bad experience. He experience some cruisers being prejudice and problems with the crew. He said he will not sail MSC again. MSC has a lot of work to do! I will not be sailing her no time soon!

    I don’t mess with MSC after a bad experience on Seaside a few years back. Melanin at Sea is doing a group cruise on Seascape in November and as much as I love my peeps I can’t give MSC a dime.

    We just got off this ship today out of Miami. Our itinerary was Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Nassau, and Coco Beach. The ship is new and we'll kept. Ship has lots of technology. Entertainment was great, good shows and comedies . Bathroom setup was small and weird, with a very small shower, but crew was very attentive and kept the room clean. We enjoyed a nice balcony on the 15th floor, people were respectful except in the buffet area where passengers were cutting lines, but that's not the fault of the ship but of the passengers . Music was great, lots of dancing, where they lacked was in the food. Being an Italian ship, the pasta was never cooked right and food was cold. Also buffet closes to early at 9pm leaving passengers without complete meals including desserts. The fun pass was great as well as the aura package were alcohol was unlimited and included many, many options. Gelato should have been for free and not an extra charge . We have done a least 20 cruises in our lives, and this one was good except for their food choices, preparation, and availability. Restaurants were very expensive and the restaurant included in our package, called Skyline food was better but crew was very slow, attentive but slow.

    MSC Seascape sounds like a UNBOOKABLE CRUISE. climbing 8 flights of stairs in fancy or regular clothes is absurd. one area to eat on embarkation day is insane, they should have a salad and cold sandwich station open or quick pasta bar.

    Listen, it was one and done...and I was on SeaShore. The ship is immaculate and beautiful, but that customer service, and adding people to tables, and those jacked up shows... Baaaby!
    I was so glad I tested this cruise line out before I sent any clients on MSC.
    I have never wanted to get off a ship 3 days in, and was just sad that I couldn't because it was a
    7 nighter😂.
    To each its own, but I will not be selling MSC unless it's directly asked for.

    MSC has two cruise experiences within the same ship, you chose Gen Pop (cheapest). Go Yacht Club next time, completely different experience! Pro Tip - With MSC you get exactly what you pay for. Seems like you did.

    Wow...I am really scared now...and this is why!!! My sister and Brother in Law a few years ago went on a MSC cruise Greece cruise, and the first words out of their mouth when they return was that they will never go on another MSC cruise. Well early last year, we decided to take a trip to Dubai in 2023, and also do a cruise while across the pond. Well, the only one that we can take from there was MSC, and my sister reminded me about their experience, but is willing to give it another try. SO.....In order to prepare myself for a MSC experience, I booked a MSC cruise "Seascape," for November. Let me tell you, beside embarkation and debarkation, the cruise and ship was FABULOUS!! I do agree on allot of items you mentioned on the video, but at least the elevators were working at that time. So to make a long story short...when I went to Dubai...that MSC ship we were on was absolutely awful, and totally agree with my sister...BUT...I was bragging about how different it is leaving from the USA...well, now I am scared...we are booked on the Seascape in September, and I am nervous that everything has gone downhill since last year. Let's see...at least I have the drink package!!!!!!!

    the room attendant attempted to charge us too. i called customer service right away, and let them know. in addition, i let my room attendant know also, and had her remove contents of the minifridge. not a situation that i want to deal with on vacation.

    Thanks for sharing these tips! MSC seems to be a hit or miss cruise brand. Other vloggers have a similar sentiment about their customer service as you two. Parkers on The Go posted their experience on the MSC Seaside with the waitstaff. They felt there was discrimination going on since they were the only Black couple in the dining space. Two waiters looked directly at them and walked passed without offering water or other drinks, however other guests were being checked on and offered drinks.

    At least y'all had a.shower I had the tub and shower, which made no sense with half of a glass. So when you took a shower all the water went outside of the shower onto the little bitty piece of floor

    I can save you 26 minutes of your life. The lifts were problematic, you can’t play baseball in the bathroom and the other passengers were a pain in the arse. You’re welcome 😉

    As a Latino I was actually offended by this video. I have recently been on Seascape and I enjoyed the diversity of the passengers on the ship. The music was as diverse as the clientele. The cruise was amazing, the staff incredible, and I just booked another MSC cruise. It’s unfortunate that you have to bash cruise ships in order to get free trips.

      1. What does your nationality have to do with it?
      2. We enjoy the diversity and have praised MSC for this is most of our MSC videos
      3. We rarely “bash” a cruise but when we do it’s well deserved.
      4. We never asked for a free trip and no cruise line will give you a free cruise because of a bad experience.
      5. It’s unfortunate that you are uninformed of our opinions and view points. Obviously you’ve never watched our other videos.

    The starting prices on MSC are good, but as the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for". The YC is good, but the rest of their ships are over crowded, and everything is extra.

      You should have tried it before u listened to someone else. i listened to so many negative comments in the vidoes before i went. i was looking for all the bad stuff too. when i was on this cruise, i had the best time. food entertainment, spa, gym and clubs was on point. I was scared for no reason. The first day is crazy. a shock that i had to take the stairs but I decided i was gonna learn these elevators baby cause i don't wanna take the stairs. i learned ways and tricks to make sure i got to and from my room without any problems. 1 you can go on a elevator that is going down and ride it back up. 2. If someone is going to deck 18 and you 15 just go up with them get out and walk down going down much easier than up. Busiest times are dinner and getting back on the ship after each port. so just get on the ship last and u will have no elevator problems. Pluse its cool to see how the crew pack up the ship for sail away. If someone cuts u off just say excuse me and they will back up. I did notice there were lines for no reason. Also in the buffet for lunch they have soft serve ice cream everyday at lunch for FREE the line is long cause the kids love the ice cream so much. My cruise was 7 days long and 4 outta those 7 days had soft serve free ice cream. The only thing that slightly bothered me was ocean cay buffet lines was ridiculous. Thats the only complaint i have and its very minor because i should have just waited till aorund 3:30 to go there. Reason i say that is because they have food trucks all over all i had to do was get some thing there to hold me over till i the lines went down. so my fault. Don't write it off based on other people experience. try it for yourself and then judge. but know that cruise line is mainly Europeans they act differently and think differently. nothing wrong with that just have fun have an open mind and observe how to get around the things that bug you on the ship. Ted the cruise director was bomb the cruise line takes care of their people. Also when u decide to go try all the specialty restaurants make surr to book ahead and show up on time baby cause they a real stickler on they time. 😂😂😂

      @@tamoyhazel5071 thanks for your input! But you shouldn’t have to play the up down with those elevators. That and the customer service were our biggest negatives. It is a beautiful ship but they have to fix those elevators or quit giving the priority cards to the suite guests.

    When the elevators were down, what reason was provided for why yhey all were not working that week?

      After doing some more research after getting home, this is a common issue on this ship. Bad engineering. The yacht club guests have key cards that allow them to bypass the elevators plus a full ship.

    Wow!! That’s terrible about the elevators. I feel so awful for the elderly or those with mobility issues. That is truly unacceptable. I’m so sorry that your anniversary was spent on this ship that did not come correct.

      I am a nurse so my eyes where scanning everyone trust me when i say the disabled where good and taken care of l. When u use common sense on the ship u start to pickup on the best times to take the elevators.the staff was very busy help to take food to the table for people in need. Most disabled people had family members there helping as well. Staff was A1

    Just got back from a cruise with MSC Seascape 4 days ago. The best part of the cruise was their private island. Now to the negatives. Embarkation/debarkation…..awful! Lines every time. The layout of this ship is awful. Buffet layout awful. Was long, not round. By the time you get what you want to eat and get a free table the food was cold. Elevators…..awful….had to wait sometimes 15 minutes. Room was ok.

    I was just on the Seascape in June, the ship is beautiful, but I won't be traveling MSC again. in addition to the awkward toilet positioning, the room toilet was broken when i embarked, then again day 2, there isn't any shade in pool areas other than the jungle pool, and that room was a sauna. The food was subpar in my opinion, the cabana at private island was not cleaned well, as I found cigarette butts around. there was also mold in cooler and their solution was to put a smaller cooler within the bigger cooler in the cabana. The music in the lounges at night were not to my taste. I heard way too much latin pop (ie daddy yankee). There also isn't enough included dining options.

    The worst cruise I had was the in 2018 on the Seaside.The buffet food was awful and limited amount of food. The pool was 8feet deep and you had to hold on walls while in the pool.🤬

    Oh my God. “ You pay for what you get” was never more true. The low cost of their cruises equals the experience you had. MSC will not get my patronage any time soon.God forbid that there would be an emergency on board, the ship and crew would not fare well.

    We are on the Seascape right now, and it's horrible. The food is trash, and so is the service. I had to get a manager at dinner last night just for us to get service. The guests are rude, too. People have placed their entire bodies on me to cut the line. The buffet is a mess serving the same nasty food every day. The evaluators are so bad I rather take the stairs. We are one and done with MSC. As a travel agent and frequent cruiser, I will never recommend this ship to anyone.

    I just got off Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas and it was our worst cruise ever. I think all cruise lines are headed in the wrong direction. We’ve made the mistake of going on MSC three times and last week’s Harmony was worse than MSC.

      Harmony had the rudest passengers we have ever encountered. This led to an exhausted and stressed out staff and crew. Mr. Traveler, I said to my wife by day 2 we have to fight for our food or we aren’t going to eat. The Windjammer was chaos and it’s due to the fact that they have main dining room times that are insanely short time options which push everyone to the Windjammer. Carnival is doing it right. We were on Mardi Gras last year and they have so many free fantastic food venues that spreads the people out. And all venues on Carnival are open almost all the time.

    Great honest video.
    But folks know your history, MSC is the largest shipping line in the world. Look at the container ships , all MSC. They are a European cruise line. They do not understand American cruise culture. They are in exspensive. Checkout the scary videos of Americans taking them in Europe.
    As Carnival prices rise, security tightens zero tolerance building on Carnival. MSC will pickup the slack. Also nickle and dime to death.

    Genuinely curious have y’all stayed in Europe for a considerable amount of time? We are doing this ship and will be our first time with msc but we have also lived in Europe for the past 4 years and it seems like videos and complaints are things that are European normals so I’m just trying to figure out if things are really bad or if culturally America just really isn’t ready for European life?

      I’ve sailed MSC 3 times and have another 2 booked. Don’t panic, if you have experience with European culture you’ll be fine. I love MSC’s European vibe. I find the “American Experience” too much for me. The OTT service is simply not for me (just serve my food and leave me alone to eat!) and whilst we’re on the subject of food…. In the EU as you probably already well know, around 10-15 years ago there was an initiative to reduce the salt and sugar content in all our food. At first I noticed the change but now I’m use to it and glad because it’s healthier. The US had not followed suit. I find their food waaaaay too rich for me simply because of the sugar and salt content in everything. Most Americans on RUclips criticise MSC for their food calling it “bland” and sure if they’re use to eating food full of salt and sugar it will taste bland to their palate. For me however, 10-15 years ago I would have agreed with them but now I’m use to reduced salt and sugar content I find American food not to my taste. I keep seeing American reviews of MSC saying they need to “step their food up” and I really hope they don’t listen to this. MSC is great because it’s suited to European culture. If I wanted rich food and a waiter chewing my ear off for the majority of dinner then I would sail on an American line. Not everything has to suit one particular market, variety is the spice of life after all!

Having lived in Italy first we are super excited especially my kids to eat some Italian style food again and I’m so use to not having OTT service now that I feel the same like please just come to me when I call for you at the table and then let us enjoy family time.

I think a cruise director who can welcome you to the show in English, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese and German is entertaining in itself. Which ship are you on and where are you sailing?       If you are used to European experiences then you’ll be fine. Honestly we like MSC it was just the problems on this ship. We understand that this is a European brand but if they want to Compton the US market they will have to fix some things.

      @@bexinthebox but if the ship is porting out of Miami, New York, then obviously you are going after the American market. Read the room, know your audience. MSC has tweaked a bit to accommodate American style.
      Cruise lines are putting ships in Asia, creating dining etc to cater to the Asian market. It’s about reading the room. Virgin originally was going after the Milineal crowd. Virgin realized Millennials don’t cruise in great numbers. Virgin now markets the more over 40 crowd looking for a more different type of experience, they also market the diverse communities as a welcoming line.
      Each cruise line markets it’s audience. MSC needs to do the same for American shores.

    Geez, After watching this Video I figured out rather Quickly that you two just wanna Complain to Complain! I believe 100% you’re hoping to get a Free Cruise from lying and exaggerating about your experience on the ship! There is in fact after you get dropped off for embarkation east and west signs, multiple ones actually. You paid for a Standard balcony room, the size of your bathroom and shower and Room itself is the same on basically every other Ship around the World! The Food is also for free, you aren’t going to go hungry! It just seems like you wanted to have the yacht club experience but not pay for it, sorry not sorry! If you want priority boarding and departure and you want priority seating, and you want exceptional dining service and you want a Bigger bathroom and room and closet space, Honey you have to pay extra for the yacht club service.. This Video was a waste of time and You two should be Ashamed of Yourselves for trying to get something for Free! I truly hope no one believes your Lies!

    I have so much to say. First and foremost, it appears that you two are more accustomed to Carnival Cruise Lines. MSC is an amazing cruise line. These two are the worst for reviews. First off, I was not there but I can assure you that they love to embellish a lot (starting with her being a size eight). Secondly, they are complaining that they got in the wrong line on embarkation day. Pay for the Yacht Club experience if you want Yacht Club service. As for, “fighting for your food” go on with that. The staff and the guest are the highest caliber of any cruise line. I love how contradictory you have been in this video. You both are very negative and petty and I would never use you as a travel agent. Do not listen to this review of two people looking for something for free. MSC do not give them the time of day.

      I think these two should be Banned from all The Cruise Lines.. They are clearly trying to get something for free.. They want Yacht club experience, But they don’t wanna pay for it.. that’s completely unfair to others, like myself who pay the extra money to get that service. You want a Bigger Room, Shower, Space, Better Dining Experience, Priority Boarding and Departure… You have to pay extra for that, Posting negative RUclips videos because you’re Mad you couldn’t cheat the system makes you look Foolish!       Many people would not know to book the yacht club. They didn't like the cruise; it's their opinion and I have watched other reviews with similar complaints. Reviews vary wildly about food etc. Others say they liked it, so everyone has an opinion. And no MCS does not rate as the highest for too much and has rated the lowest on several professional cruise ratings such as WHICH. Glad you enjoy it but don't trash those that don't.

MSC Calls it Yacht club, Royal Caribbean calls it Sky and Star class. Let’s not act dumb, they were trying to cheat the system and got mad that they couldn’t!! So many People on RUclips complain just to complain and get free stuff from doing so, You can tell the Real’s from the Fakes rather quickly!! If MSC was as horrible as they said it was, they wouldn’t sell out every single cruise.. especially when as you know, there are so many other cruise ships around the world..

      @@corinnemcleod1804 You are correct; most first time cruisers don’t know that there are different tiers of cabins until they go to book. That is not the case for these two. These two are experienced cruisers. These individuals got exactly what they wanted with embarkation day. They knew they were in a different line and if they caused a big enough stink that they would let them in through the yacht club entrance. Just to clarify, I’m not trashing them at all for not liking the cruise line. I’m trashing them for trying to get something for free.

      @@davidreign9247 What are you talking about???? We stayed the elevators and the staffs response is the issue here. I asked for compensation to prove a point that they need to fix the elevators. And I told them they need to compensate everyone on the ship. I don’t want my clients to have to endure waiting 15 minutes for an elevator or having to take the stairs their entire trip. We have enjoyed MSC as we stated, this ship however needs work.

      @@MrTraveler74 , do what we did when we had a similar situation on the MSC DIVINA in April. Unfortunately for us, the ship was jam packed with loud Puerto Rican families, I mean LOUD ! We had a balcony cabin to boot, was never quiet before 1am every night. Packed a few ear plugs I had from my previous job. Worked like a charm.
