I stand by the "Pause whenever you want to if you have something to say!" category. I know people complain. I think the solution is just to back up to the start of the solo and people will mostly be happy. There is no pleasing everyone. Trying to not pause band maid in the middle of something awesome is a herculean task, especially if you haven't heard the song.
I know what you mean. Their songs are so complex and the sounds come at you like an avalanche, that sometimes I don't know what to say. Then I listen to them a few times and calm down, and I have so much to say I can't stop.👍
The Hunky Dory Days for USA, Mexico and Japan fans continue as their 2023 10th Anniversary Concert series closes after they performed a whooping 70 of their over 130 superhit songs. And their big climax at the 17,000 seat Yokohama stadium in Nov 26 was unbelievable! But the 2024 Chapter Two of Band-Maid’s quest for World Domination is now underway. A live Band-Maid experience is not to be missed, if at all possible! Thx, Rick!

There is an isolated video of lead guitarist Kanami playing this song in studio. What impressed me most about it is her creativity. I don't know how she can build a song around such an unusual lead part, but she does it. The parts in the verses really only sound good when paired with the rhythm guitar. This song is killer live from the bridge on.

This is an example of fantastic musicians with too much ego. Every one of them is playing to show off their technique and it ends up sounding like an incoherent mess. All of them are soloing at once. If you want an example of great musicians playing complicated and technical passages and sounding together and in a groove listen to JINJER.

There is no way I’m going to sell Band-Maid short. They are fantastic musicians that don’t know when to shut up, of course I’m saying that tongue in cheek, however, I think it applies. There are some bands that are able to do that, JINJER, for instance, are able to play extremely complex polyrhythmic music, but they have the ability to make their music groove hard and to make it sound tight and in sync with each other other. There is a start and a crescendoed end to each of their songs making them a powerhouse! The Warning are in a class all by themselves right now. They know how to construct and play a song that has peaks and valleys and dynamics all to lead up to a fantastic end! Their natural talent, private lessons, Berkeley education and hard work is evident. The Warning are musicians who do 10 times what bands like Band Maid do with three instruments. They play far beyond their age and add their phenomenal composing and lyrical skills and you have a band that just stands above so many others. They brought back hard hitting old school rock ‘n’ roll with a never-ending twist of new sounds and ideas. The Warning shakes the ground and blows the roof off of every place they play. Unmatched energy and professionalism! They will be in the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame and will hold several Grammy Awards, without a doubt.
Don't worry about the pauses, just go back a little bit and we'll be fine.
