Tamala Georgette Jones was born to the only Hall of Fame husband and wife country artists, George Jones and Tammy Wynette. She's been singing with one or both parents since the age of three. She recorded her first single with her Dad, "Daddy Come Home" when she was 10 years old and performed it on an HBO special.

Great song and voice. It's a shame country radio won't play her and other traditional artists. May it change sooner than later. We are being cheated from hearing her and others.

I am THANKFUL to have find Tamala finally, to see that Yes, she definitely inherited the gift from her parents. Most importantly, I love seeing the photos that show that she was tight with her dad at the end. That must have meant everything to the both of them!
I love her and her music. We lost Tammy, Patcy Cline ,and Georgette way to soon. I also love George Jones's music.

Great voice. Unfortunately the new corporate nashville won't probably ever play this on radio. Thank God for the Internet. We don't need radio anyway. I love my Classic rock (50's, 60's, 70's, 80's) and Classic Country (40's to 90's). Modern music has forced me to listen to talk radio.

It is amazing how many sons and daughters of great country performers can sing really good. For example, Marty's son Ronny Robbins is an amazing singer and do is daughter, Janet.
@@mrbobevans No joke, my girlfriend's late father was best friends with Marty, they both went into the service together and in later life, they both sang together on many songs.
Each and every time, read and listen Georgette Jones' songs, "Daddy Come Home" will make me crying. When my daughter was one year old, she visited and lived with her grandma for a year. My mom told me your daughter said to me, "grandma, I want to leave", "where you want to go? She said "I go to my home", "where is your home?",. Then she said "Meiguo (United States)". My mom asked "what you do then?" She said, " I look for my Daddy!"

I'm a Country Boy raised on the third biggest cattle ranch in the world. You don't hear music like this no more. When I hear you sing it takes me back to the ranch. My stepfather would have loved your singing. When he died they played your dad George Jones. He Stopped Loving Her Today. And then they played Home on the Range with the harmonica. They said he was a man Beyond men. They said he was the strongest man to ever work on this Ranch. That would be the Deseret Ranch. And just two favorite singers was George Jones and Tammy Wynette. He would have really loved your singing I love it so much. Don't ever stop you are so special. Your real country nothing like we hear on the radio. It's nothing but garbage anymore I'm used to this kind of music. You go woman your parents would be so proud of you. 👍☝👏💖

Georgette sings songs with her feelings just the way her daddy George Jones did. When she sings a song you know it's been sung. Just exactly like her mom and dad. When they sang a song it was sung too.
She has a beautiful voice. I wish they would play her om the radio. How do we get the radaio to play Georgette and Carlene Cater? They are true country music.
They ownly have this kind of special country on a few radio stations and satellite radio I do believe! Its a shame that most "country" radio stations are playing all this so-called country. They all are a bunch of noise in my opinion and all sound the same!

I had the privilege of hearing Georgette sing in Belfast a number of years ago before she started releasing songs properly. I didn't know who she was at the time but I remember listening to her sing and feeling like she was someone special. I'm glad she has found her way into music, and even though I am a fan of many modern day country musicians as well as the greats, I have to say it is soothing to hear 'new' artists with old souls.

She is a super singer. She needs a blockbuster signature song that separates her music from her mother and father. She has to be a bit different with a song especially for her.

"I'm so excited! The George and Tammy series is about to start filming soon....and today...I get to go listen to some of the pre-recordings of music being led by legendary TBone Burnett!!!!
For those who don't know, I was 1st approached about using my book, The Three of Us, and about being a consultant back in Feb 2013. It has been a long and crazy process, but I'm thrilled it's becoming what it is now. It is a limited streaming series by ViacomCBS and is to be eventually streamed on Paramount +. Jessica Chastain and Michael Shannon are Mom and Dad and they are amazing! Josh Brolin is still co-producing with Andrew Lazar, but due to his prior commitments, he couldn't take on this acting role due to scheduling. Abe Sylvia is the main writer and architect of our story and he's incredibly talented! I'll keep yall posted, but needless to say...I'm over the moon and looking forward to every second of this process." I know I can't wait to see this movie.
