As well as the return of teal bricks, they made an entire large teal brick 2x4 set (as a lego vip reward) when they brought it back, after officially discontinuing it years prior, and it actually started appearing in a lot more sets (prior to that, even when they were still around they weren't used much aside from one theme iirc)
@@Makaneek5060 That's because the guy in the video is a dumb ass who didn't do proper research. Connecting LEGO themes is a hobby of mine, so far I have found and established cannon connections between 70ish themes that set them all in the same universe. Galaxy Squad is connected to Alien Conquest but not directly, its through a long string of connections. He also incorrectly identified Monster Fighters as directly connected to Alien Conquest. To connect Galaxy Squad to Alien Conquest you need to first account for Galaxy Squad's connection to Monster Fighters, this is established in a LEGO club magazine comic where we see that the defeat of Lord Vampyre is what attracted the Buggoids from Galaxy Squad to earth. In the official description of the series 16 collectable minifigure "Spy" it is stated that he has worked with the Galaxy Squad. It's also said that he has worked with the agents from the 2009 Agents theme. The Agents theme is connected to LEGO City through a racing game that features both the themes. City is connected to Classic Space through various Classic Space logos throughout the theme, it's even on many City space vehicles. The classic space logo also appears on the series 6 collectible minifigure "Intergalactic Girl", In her official description she is said to be the arch nemesis of the series 8 collectible minifigure "Alien Villainess". In the official description of the Alien Villainess she is revealed to be the leader of the alien forces in Alien conquest. Little correction about Bionicle: the masks didn't give the Toa their elemental powers. They had elemental powers on their own, and the masks usually gave them specific additional superpowers, like invisibility or telepathy. I think that's different in Gen 2, however

Glad you took a break, you totally deserve it. Looking forward to more content!! I feel like there was one thing missing from this Iceberg, and that is the Bionicle: Quest for Mata Nui fan game. I would highly recommend checking that out, its come a long way! Best part of all? Lego gave the okay to continue it.
Bionicle and Lego Star Wars are the best. I was obsessed with both of them back in the 2000's. I had a lot of the original Bionicle's but not sure what happened to them over the years. I even remember getting those Bionicle's from McDonald's happy meals too. What a blast from the past. Dino Attack was also really cool at the time it's a shame it didn't last long and had to censor the theme. Almost forgot about Exo Force too. I was into that as well. If I had more space and money I would probably still be buying Legos right now.
52:00 That vibe you got wasn't too far off. The original show pitch for Gwen was just an old friend of Ben's before being reworked into being a (distant) relative, and a lot of the original idea blend into some episodes. 11:06:50 There's something extra ironic in something as derivative of old pulp adventure serials/genre as Indiana Jones turning around and complaining another thing ripped THEM off.
Gwen was never intended to be a love interest though. Even when she was planned to just be a classmate, it's been said time and time again by the crew that despite being an unrelated girl and boy early on, they were never to be in love. Think it's just a combo of some things being purposely awkward (the dance practice in the wedding episode) and the general assumption of "boy and girl hate each other, that's love."
I think the one thing that makes your iceberg videos standout compared to others is the little commercial breaks between layers. It's a fairly original and super nostalgic detail
If you ever want to make a Second Lego Iceberg, here is a low Entry recommendation: The Omega was seen in the Ninjago Show. Basically, in the Lego Clutch Powers Movie, it’s revealed that Clutch Powers Dad went missing. Later on it’s revealed he was kidnapped by a creature named “The Omega” who the ‘Lego HQ Guy’ explains was the most dangerous villain they’ve ever faced. However, the Omega is never actually seen in the film, and because we don’t know what happens in the Sequel, it’s possible this Plot Point was forgotten about…or was it? In a Season of the Lego Ninjago Show, Clutch Powers returns as an older guy, and although he never interacts with them, there are these Demonic creatures known as the Oni, who are lead by a Oni named *”The Omega”* So…is Ninjago Omega the one that kidnapped Clutch Powers Dad? …probably not initially, as Ninjago didn’t exist back then but….retroactively you could say it’s the same dude.
49:50 I had almost all the Monster Fighters figures, they were pretty cool. I didn't know that Clutch Powers came back for Ninjago either, or that the series ran that long
I would KILL to have a LEGO Mixels Reboot. The series was extremely unique, and the tribes being weird is what makes it good. Also, the og Mixels Series ended in Series 9. They could have done JUST ONE MORE SERIES so that they can end in a Multiple of 5, but NOPE! Mixels, even being a franchise that lasted 2 years and being discontinued almost 6 years ago, actually has a Discord Server that is active a bunch of the time. And there aren't low members in it. Anyway, I hate it how, when I contacted LEGO about the Mixels' end, they just said "They were discontinued to allow more space for other themes" Like what do you mean bruh, give me a Reboot
Watxhing this video unlocked a lot of memories for me. Seeing some of these sets made me feel ridiculously nostalgic. Especially the brickfilm addition. Me and my friend spent hours making Lego videos back in the early 2000‘s
For 6+ months, I've been looking for a Lego Iceberg that was packed with content, had a voice, and covered obscure facts. After failing multiple times, I finally found on what I would say, the Definitive Lego Iceberg video. Did I know a majority of these facts? Yes, but I'd say you (PigPen) covered a good hour amount of content. P.S Heard of Lego Elves? Because I wanna know who your wife is of the main 5.
This is probably one of my favorite iceberg videos. I learned a lot about my favorite childhood toy. I’m a little surprised the iceberg didn’t mention the Master Builder Academy sets though, I used to have the level 1 kit before i gave away my lego collection
love the content my guy! i consistently come back to your channel and am never disappointed. it’s currently 4:29AM for me as of writing this, and i’m about to knock out with this in the background. that’s how connected we are. my only note as a pigpen enthusiast would be to adjust the audio of the clips you insert to match the level of your voice. mad jarring to hear a much louder clip over a subtler voice but keep up the great work my guy i love it!
Johnny Thunder (the LEGO character) got me into Johnny Thunders (the musician) due to a typo. Imagine my surprise when instead of a minifig I see grainy black and white pictures of some crazy guy with crazier hair waving his guitar around!
Speaking of lego, when I was young I had the ultra rare Lego Indiana Jones and Han solo set, which would turn around to reveal the one of the characters but I lost it
"Released in promotion for the film Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium..." Me: oh hey I remember watching that- "No don't lie to me you have! Not seen this movie." Me: oh
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Will I. Am Minifigure, the Juno, Jupiter and Galleleio minifigures that went to space, and that Zack the LEGO Maniac actually got a Minifigure Other than that great iceberg.
I like the video a lot man, its good to see more icebergs that are less dark and more focused on stuff thats interesting vs. disturbing. One thing I think that would make your videos a lot better - it seems like you are moving away from the mic and back to it between audio takes. It makes it so the volume of your voice is inconsistent and sometimes too quiet. Maybe holding a set distance from the mic, or running all the audio through a compressor plugin so that it is all one volume would help. Thanks again for the video and hope to see more interesting icebergs!
I agree, I prefer Icebergs with entries going from well-know stuff to obscure stuff over ones going from normal stuff to "disturbing" stuff, which 90% of the time they consists of generic, cliched, overused "EVERY COPY OF X IS PERSONALIED" entries that are just there for filler. So, it's nice to see Icebergs with actual, interesting entries.
Very nice vídeo! Even tough I don't really buy them anymore, Legos still really fascinate me. I was honestly shocked with how I recognized so many of the entries you mentioned from when I was younger, and super into Legos.
You’ve unlocked the deep board game shaped memory locked in my brain that I haven’t thought of in years. It was a little silly, but come on Heroica slapped.
Why do the other themes need to be "replace" or "kill" ninjago? How do you know they are not just trying to strike gold again? And have both running together.
I loved all the Space Police sets and had a good chunk from both releases. I also like the space sets that were a lil older and had the figures in black with the black visor, and the ships were black with clear yellow. I wanna say they were some sort of Space Police. I was a huge fan of the Ice Planet stuff that came later with the white, black, blue and clear orange color theming. My favorite set was the space monorail, but all the Space Police and Ice Planet stuff is right there. My brother had all the early knights and castle, and the pirate sets. We still have all our stuff from back then, even the build guides. BLACKTRON! Thats what it was called. I guess I shoulda just waited 30 secs in the video.
According to Lego "Alright class, we're going horseback riding!" Boys: "Thats so lame, who cares about horses?" Girls: *American Venom blasts in the distance*
this iceberg showed me just how different lego is, as a company. in a lot of situations in this video, they actually listened to the fans and adapted to the feedback they were recieving.
Listening to him say that mindstorms were babies first coding gave me flashbacks to the Lego Robot League and 2 kids straight up got into a fight over scores
On how the church sets can get away with "genuine lego bricks," it's because they openly state they are not affiliated with or endorsed by lego. Companies like battle brick and brickmania, who make war stuff (brickmania is actually a major reseller of brickarms, too!) have to do the same. I'd also just like to give you props for this. A 2-hour video with hundreds of edited images and video clips is no easy feat, and it's been one of the most comprehensive looks I've seen.
If you want to talk about scummy Comic-Con figures, there was a 18-month long period where the only way to have an ability in Lego Dimensions was to own the Supergirl figure that they handed out at E3 2016.
This is great. Long so I had to watch in 2 halves lol but great work I remember lots of these things thanks to having Lego Magazine lol. Loved LEGO Atlantis.

Wow didn't know this was an over 11 Hour Video 😂
You meant 1:06:50
I think the one thing that makes your iceberg videos standout compared to others is the little commercial breaks between layers. It's a fairly original and super nostalgic detail
correction about mixels:
a murp is NOT 4 mixels mixed. it's an unsucsessful mix, the number of mixels mixed in doesn't matter
In a Season of the Lego Ninjago Show, Clutch Powers returns as an older guy, and although he never interacts with them, there are these Demonic creatures known as the Oni, who are lead by a Oni named *”The Omega”*
So…is Ninjago Omega the one that kidnapped Clutch Powers Dad? …probably not initially, as Ninjago didn’t exist back then but….retroactively you could say it’s the same dude.
49:50 I had almost all the Monster Fighters figures, they were pretty cool. I didn't know that Clutch Powers came back for Ninjago either, or that the series ran that long
Oh yeah he's in ninjago...... and he just accidentally inadvertently got a ninja killed.
@@timebomb42 That darn Clutch Powers
Legends of Chima is severely underappreciated in my opinion. I hope to see it return someday.
Anyway, I hate it how, when I contacted LEGO about the Mixels' end, they just said
"They were discontinued to allow more space for other themes"
Like what do you mean bruh, give me a Reboot
Watxhing this video unlocked a lot of memories for me. Seeing some of these sets made me feel ridiculously nostalgic. Especially the brickfilm addition. Me and my friend spent hours making Lego videos back in the early 2000‘s
I didn’t know how much I needed to hear Alex Jones say the Lego Rancor is racist
Great content as always! And nice to now you are a Bionicle fan!
Elves was a good theme. I hope Lego brings it back.
These videos about lego always make me sad because it reminds me of a the legos i've broken and lost.
Oh my god I’ve been waiting for so something like this can’t wait to watch a great Lego Iceberg video
Johnny Thunder (the LEGO character) got me into Johnny Thunders (the musician) due to a typo.
Imagine my surprise when instead of a minifig I see grainy black and white pictures of some crazy guy with crazier hair waving his guitar around!
Speaking of lego, when I was young I had the ultra rare Lego Indiana Jones and Han solo set, which would turn around to reveal the one of the characters but I lost it
Bro that “Zack the Lego maniac” commercial was ✨PURE GOLD✨
"Released in promotion for the film Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium..."
Me: oh hey I remember watching that-
"No don't lie to me you have! Not seen this movie."
Me: oh
your channel is criminally underrated. keep up the good work. can’t stop watching these iceberg videos.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Will I. Am Minifigure, the Juno, Jupiter and Galleleio minifigures that went to space, and that Zack the LEGO Maniac actually got a Minifigure
Other than that great iceberg.
9:28 missed the chance to say "Planes, trains, and automobiles"
You have no idea how long I have been waiting for a good lego iceberg like this, as a massive fan of the topic, I thank you my good sir 🙏
Thanks for making this! Really entertaining. Greetings from The Netherlands
Babe wake up
New pigpen iceberg just dropped
The Mr. Magorium section hurt me so much, that was one of my favorite childhood movies and I forced two of my friends to watch it like three weeks ago
Me and the boys huddling up around the TV for the Pigpen upload.
You’ve unlocked the deep board game shaped memory locked in my brain that I haven’t thought of in years. It was a little silly, but come on Heroica slapped.
LEGO City Undercover is no longer a Wii U Exclusive game, it was remastered in 2017 on other consoles.
Great video! Most of the entries brought me back. I have a single mini figure from Exo Force. Keep up the good work.
So happy to see you posted a new video
Why do the other themes need to be "replace" or "kill" ninjago? How do you know they are not just trying to strike gold again? And have both running together.
HOLY SHIT. You are a god among men just for the variety of these videos alone. Please keep them coming sir!
I guess I shoulda just waited 30 secs in the video.
lego themes having an actual continuity and lore is insane to me
According to Lego
"Alright class, we're going horseback riding!"
Boys: "Thats so lame, who cares about horses?"
Girls: *American Venom blasts in the distance*
Girls: ACROSS THE FIELDS, ACROSS THE PLAINS, HE RAN SO FAST HE DODGED THE RAIN!
HE WAS EL BURRO!
I don’t get that. Boys like horses too, especially because of knights, samurai, cowboys, etc
@@themanwhowouldbebrick IKR, I don't understand why toys considered horse riding a girl sport
"Here it is right here, the rancor ladies and gentlemen, is racist" is now my favorite Alex Jones quote
this iceberg showed me just how different lego is, as a company. in a lot of situations in this video, they actually listened to the fans and adapted to the feedback they were recieving.
Fun fact, clutch powers is mentioned in the first few episodes of Lego Ninjago , so not too surprising that he'd make a cameo
The minute they say Hey, MADE my LIFE. I LOVE IT
Listening to him say that mindstorms were babies first coding gave me flashbacks to the Lego Robot League and 2 kids straight up got into a fight over scores
For the Mixels bit, there were more episodes of the show that were longer, I think half-hour to a full hour episodes were made
Johnny appearing in that Jurrasic Park 3 makes me want an easter egg of some character in a Jurrastic Park thing that resembles Johnny from the sets.
Moral of this video: people with too much free time love to protest against lego
Oh my God thank you, I have been looking for a LEGO Iceberg for a while, thank you!
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium was one of my favorite movies growing up, surprised they actually had some lego tie ins.
Holy shit. The "I am watching you pee!" Video unlocked deep repressed memories.
"not the real crusaders" " thank God". Choose one big boy
I didn't realize Christians owned the concept of a god. My apologies
I haven't seen the video yet but I'm anticipating Pigpen saying "my wife WyldStyle".
Human Wyldstyle is pretty hot I’m not gonna lie
