Of all their brilliant songs, this one song stands out as a very rare gem, it somehow captures their unique blend of pin sharp funky instrumentals that works perfectly with the dreamy melody and lyrics. Not so typical of the genre and period, with many songs laced with sleaze and corny macho attitude headlining the charts. The early Level 42 were much more than Mark King thumping out typical bass signatures, more than the typical Brit Jazz funk riff going over the top. They were a cracking band of master craftsmen until their snap and crackle got very soggy after drinking too much commercial pop.
