And the worse thing is, the 037 is pretty much the best RWD Group B overall. At least compared to the Manta that has absolutely no feedback from its front wheels.
The feeling of making every corner better and faster than i used to at my first time playing this game is awesome, i remember always oversteering at those 90 degrees corners in Germany

The only reason Group B got shut down was because drivers started dying. Audience members had been getting themselves killed and maimed for _years_ previously but nobody cared, it was their own stupid fault that they got too close.
I remember first time I play dirt rally. Using that FWD mini I think "yeah as long as I can control my speed before the corner I can slam my throttle as hard as I can, yeah I'm good with this rally game. " And then I buy those RWD car and me be like : "WTF is this why I always spin out, WTF is this piece of shit?" Then I realise i have skill issues LOL

@@jerzyzareba551 Perhaps by 'strong' you meant the power/accel ramp was set high, which when set high on a RWD vehicle for the rear axle, (usually) results in power-on oversteer, especially at lower revs. Sometimes engineers/drivers set the accel lock to a low value, which transfers most of the power to the outside wheel, giving you understeer (in this case, stability) when getting on the power out of corners.
@@Housesider I might remember it wrong but I think it's a problem with turbo charged cars since if you're low on revs in a corner and try to accelerate they're like "zzzzzzz... FUCK YOU" and you're on a tree. Limiting how aggresive the dif definitely helped in maintaining that and countering sudden rev jumps typical for older turbocharged carws, I think that was my main problem.
This video is very silly and I enjoy it. RWD on a rally car is just asking for trouble. On anything but tarmac, you will have a miserable experience. Well, RWD tries hard to kill you on any surface but it is worse on gravel. When I'm not wanting to drive the super fast AWD cars, I love FWD. With front wheel drive, you can drive like an absolute madman and the car won't spin. You can even use the addition of MORE power to get yourself out of bad situations. If you drive a rear wheel like a front wheel, you will always spin. You can't do as nice drifts as an AWD or RWD, but in Richard Burns Rally, the VW Golf is my absolute favorite and I drive it like I stole the thing.

In 2020...I went from having a pretty good time with H1 and winning my novice championship to getting Audi Quattro Group B. And my 1st event was catamarca province. Needless to say I gave up. I thought the game was shit with shitty controls. Now I am playing again and actually learned how F'd Group B is so I feel silly giving up before. Finished that championship at 16th and decided to walk before I sprint. Just won H2 championship on Pro. I would love some tips on how to do highspeed hairpin. Playing on Ps4.

It's not a whole RWD group B fault. This Lancia is pure trash in both of Dirt Rally games. Absolutely uncontrollable thing at any settings (w/o traction control, of course).
As a professional "operator of the automobile" I think the games physics are wayyy to difficult, both for the steering wheel and controller. Yes in real life you have other difficulties like g forces, noise etc. but this game just got it wrong imo.
I have rwd zhiguli since its zhiguli the brakes obviously aint working well there was this one turn i almost friking fliped it on the roof with four people inside
