very nice review! This Osmo Action and the instago 2 are actually what I have been using to shoot my family trip videos, and I love em! Used to shoot with my mirrorless but for a father of 3, this camera is much much more compact and convenient to use ✅✅
I got two of the Osmo actions original ones still working good use them to make fishing videos. I just bought the Osmo action 4 about five months ago,It's also great It has a few more features that I do like better..
man. life is hard when being broke. Im trying to get one but the gopro 7 feels so much better. wider fov in wide, even wider with superview and has stabilization aswell, better stabilization in low light. But the audio adapter is the only thing that bothers me
Thoughts on this camera for motovlogging? Is there a way to use this on your chin mount on the helmet? Just starting out and don't have over 400 bucks on all items to spend on right now. Found this camera with 2 batteries on FB Marketplace and I just need your opinion on it. I plan on shooting at 1080p 30fps. Think viewers would like it. Please let me know! Thanks for the vid and new sub btw!
@Travis542 thank you, going to look at it in person. For post production is it easy to use and combine both audio and video? What do you use for post production. I heard a motovlogger use cap cut on an iPad 🤦♂️😂
the fact that an older camera like that can still put out that good of video in 2024, looks good on DJI, I recently got the action 4 and the video is comparable
You can set it up to where it preserves the last used settings. Then you can just hit the record button with it off and it will start in about 2 seconds. Once stopped the camera will auto shut off. Great question.
I’m a little unsure on what your asking. The screw off lens cover is specific to the osmo action. But with a small rig cage it’d be 52mm. Please let me know if that’s not what you’re asking.
@@Travis542 I'm asking about the screw off lens cover. What diameter is it? Is the thread metric or "exotic"? Maybe there could be interesting stuff to screw in place, like ND filters, polarizing filter etc
@@montre-moi it’s an cover that is specific. Although neewer made a kit with nd filters and cpl filters for the osmo 1. I’ve got one from eBay that was super cheap.
Hey man, i have the osmo action 1 and noticed microphone audio level bars that goes up and down when you speak turned to a solid microphone logo, Is that normal?
I make the occasional walking video and the DJI Action 1 meets my needs perfectly. I even used it to record a wedding last year and got great results.
I have upgraded from 1 to 5 and the difference is really worth buying.

Very Nice. I have one and about to buy another one second hand as it's great for car videos! Great video, thanks for sharing 👌
Thanks for watching!

Oh yeah it would work great. I’d record audio separately on something like a zoom essentials h1.
There’s mounts available to mount it to the helmet.

Thanks for the comment! Do you like the osmo 4?
@Travis542 I do, only used it a couple times so far, one thing I like most is the compatibility with the wireless mic 2 transmitter
There's no quick record in it or driving mode? When you open the camera it instant recording? TIA

Whats the lens cover size/thread size?

I’ve been having audio issues myself. I think it comes from the jjc adapter. I’ve just been using my zoom h1n.
Bro where to buy
eBay
Im still using until now😂
I bought a bunch of stuff for mine lol. The neewer nd filters are more than half off on Amazon right now.
@@Travis542great choice!! Keep vloging about this action camera
