Hanwha SMT and PTH Component Feeding Solutions and how to pick and place / insert them using SM485P

SMT and PHT machines are generally separate machines or PTH just dedicated to a particular solution or even a single component.
Using the Hanwha SM485P we can utilise both normal vacuum nozzles, special nozzles for odd components as well as gripper nozzles for hard to pick or very odd components.
4 heads all with force control which have 4 small fixed cameras for the smaller component so the machine can pick and place at a reasonable speed when picking and placing smaller components.
When it comes to larger and unusual devices then the machine will then use the Large upward camera.
With a variety of lights, the camera can see and align a huge range of components.
Sometimes PTH component lead tips can be very difficult to pick out and for this reason we use a horizontal laser to reflect light off the tips of the component leads, like LAN connector leads, Radial and axial components and any other vertical leads, this algorithm is called "pin".
