CSP test using Hanwha SM482PLUS Flexible pick and place machine.

Here we are with a small CSP component. Quick test to see if the standard 25mm Mega Pixel Camera can see and align the small component.
It's ball size and pitch are better suited to our 16mm Mega Pixel cameras which have better resolution or better still the DECAN S1 camera system.
Auto teach works wonderfully even at this size!
Such an easy function.

I have a samsung sm482 that has head 3 coming down too far and knocking the pcb, you can here a definable clunk, i have re calibrated and see that then Z height is at -2.68, is that too far? how do i reset it lower? it is set down more than the other heads.

Hi Kit.
If you auto calibrated then it could be that the vacuum detect didn't go well.
Try load a blank PCB and manually bring the head down to the top of the PCB and save that value.
Use a thin sheet of paper until you feel the nozzle or nozzle holder grip the paper , then remove the paper and give the Z a couple more clicks.
Save this value, home the machine and then an easy way to check after...
Go in step program, on Z field click move and do this will all 6 heads.
Then get a steel ruler and put it across the bottom of all 6 heads, see if they all touch the ruler.
Oh and do this with the head at the front over the feeder base so you can access the bottom of the heads.

I'm having an issue with SmartSM application, after a shutdown over the weekend and turnimg the sm482 back on the application is zoomed in to the point it's unusable on both displays. If I close the application this zoom effect is not occurring for any windows functions. If you have any solution that'd be greatly appreciated

Hi. If it's CSP or BGA then only use side light and a low light. Make the real size a little smaller the actual size.
