    This guy's game is way more complete on both ends of the floor than anyone ive seen in the past couple decades. Coulda wrote a book on his offensive game just on this series alone

      Nate P. I agree.. not a kobe fan but kobe is the most complete perimeter player midrange scorer I've seen since Jordan... Nick Wright says LeBron has been the best player in the nba since his rookie year hahaha... the facts are kobe was the best player on the planet from 03-2010 .... kobe won the 08 Olympics for us .. nobody else was even close to the closer kobe was ... people stat watch and think they know the game but stats domt tell the story most of the time ... kobe like Jordan didn't care to miss and miss alot ... most players get passive when they miss but MJ and KOBE was assasins and the most complete 2 scorers to play the game.... like or hate kobe he did prove everyone who said he couldn't win without shaq .. and he did it in the hardest toughest conference in basketball.... but the 01 shaq and kobe lakers is the best team I've seen in the last 20 years. .. kobe was averaging 34-7-7 but Shaq was averagin like 38-18 at 61 percent which is complete dominance.... prime shaq in today's watered down nba would dominate

    I played basketball because of you. I chose number 8 and 24 because of you. Kept playing with your shoes on. Thank you for all the impossible shots. Thank you for all the game winners. Thank you for those moments that made you the hero and the villain. Thank you for making me fall in love with basketball. Good bye Idol. Mamba out😢

    What an outstanding offensive display. Kobe is one of the best offensive players in NBA history, and it's very debatable between him and MJ since he patterned all his game from MJ's. The footwork, the fadeaways, the clutch shots, the fearlessness, the will to win. Only MJ and Kobe have that in common. LeBron is nowhere near those 2 offensively, he may be a better all around player, but I will pick MJ and Kobe over LeBron any day of the week. This is just an EYEASM! Beautiful to watch.

    @ 4:34 is a perfect example showing the difference between the recent generation and the current generation. Kobe is getting tapped on the head with JR's fingers and he doesn't flop, whine, or bitch. He plays through it. Any player today, like Chris Paul, would flop the hell out of that and cry to the refs.

    • @Revolutionary642
      @Revolutionary642 9 лет назад +6

      I agree 100 %. Sad thing is that many of current generation do not grasp this concept. Kobe has that dog in him like many great players before his era as well as some during his era with same mindset. Difference that separates Kobe from even players who have dog mindset is this work ethic and his obsession in striving for perfection.

    Since 2000, he's been in the top 3-5 each season in Assists among Shooting Guards. But somehow there's a myth that he "doesn't pass."
    At least you acknowledged his 2013 brilliance. He was #1 Among Shooting Guards in Assists Per Game this season.

      Christopher Gonzalez kobe was unguardable during this time .. it's like watching the clone of Jordan... there's good players in today's NBA forsure but there not scorers like this kobe Bryant... kobe would go on tears of 9 fourtht point games in a row or 4 sixty point games in a row...... go watch kobes last game against MJ! Kobe had 55 at halftime . He could've scored 70 plus ... kobe and shaq is the most dominant duo all-time talent wise.. name another duo who both averaged 30 plus a game ... kobe was averaging 35-7-7 but Shaq was putting up 38-17-5 at 61 percent which is complete dominance... I'd put the 01 lakers against anyone team ever in a 7 game series .. Shaq was unstoppable in the early 00s when he bulked up ... people say hakeem shut 95 shaq down but Shaq averaged 26-14 as a young 2nd year player... 2000 mvp shaq would own any year hakeem.... shaqs best finals mvp stats was right at 40 and 18 at 60 percent . There hasn't been anyone with a total domination finals like that.

    • @TheMrJones1994
      @TheMrJones1994 8 лет назад

      Udaat Mittu So scott skiles is a better set up man than Nash right? And Jordan averaged 22 at 40 while shooting a good percentage. Even in the year he scored 81 points he didnt average more points than Jordan did his best year, meaning he wasnt a better scorer. You cant average less and shoot a worse percentage and be a better scorer

  • @albertmorales3233

    As brilliant as Kobe was on offense during that postseason, his defense was superb; he was an elite two-way player. He always accepted the challenge of being guarded by the opponents best defender (Jones), and returned the favor on the other end (Melo).
    It was obvious JR & Dante Jones were trying to get under Kobe’s skin, but Kobe was far from rattled. In other words, Dante was a pathetic defender; constantly staying under Bryant each time he went up for a jumper + pushing him from behind while in the air after getting beat 😒

    aw i got too many negative votes :( yeah im just saying that most of his highlights were about shooting. he actually is very good at dishing assists. Kobe is a true MVP who LEAD the lakers to the playoffs and never left, I think the MVP award should go to someone who leads a team to victory not someone who has really good stats in each game. Kobe was robbed for the MVP award in these past seasons.....

      Marcus Fersko Jordan was a better defender but this kobe was just as good as a scorer... prime Jordan and this kobe are the 2 best pure scorers to ever touch a basketball... LeBron is a top 10 all-time player forsure but Jordan and kobe was assasins man ... both averaged over 35 a game for a season..... Jordan dropped 63 in the Boston garden against prime birds Celtics. Bird said it was like watching god in a bulls jersey.... but Jordan didn't start winning titles until birds Celtics and magics lakers got old... people dont understand.how stacked 80s celtics and 80s lakers was...... the 1990 Lakers that Jordan beat in the finals didn't have Kareem who had done retired .... just imagine if Jordan didn't retire twice in the 90s the bulls could've won 10 in a row.. nobody can compare to Jordan because he turned the finals into his personal showcase.. kids today argue LeBron is.better but it's not true .. the 2013 spurs played off of LeBron daring him to shoot the ball and it worked ... you would never see anyone playing off of Jordan or kobe like that ....unknowledgable people overrated LeBrons stats .. ofcourse his stats are over inflated in this small ball no defense league ...... the eastern conference in the 90s was so so much tougher than the watered down shit it is.now... Jordan had to face teams like Shaq and penny and the Knicks and Reggie Miller's pacers ... why does dumbass people think nba and NFL is more talented today ? It's not true at all... I haven't seen a runningback from today even close to Barry Sanders or emmitt.. there aimt no recievers as good as young Randy moss ..
