Two more winners! The 4910 or even 501p are the bargain champs ported. Great to see you get big gains on these computer strato saws. You'll get the 261 fueling fixed.
Yeah it just gets lots of fine sawdust built up on the filter quicker then the Husqvarna will. They have that figured out! You just have to blow it out more often thats all. I love my 261C, stock other than muffler mod! Also notice it will run lean out of the cut back to a smooth idle, sharp chain and keep the load on it helps it run better!
@@omilu808homemade mod. Cut a few 1” long cuts about 1/8” apart with Dremel on the recoil side. Then bend out the pieces left between on a 45 degree angle with needle nose pliers. Fish gill muffler mod haha. Works good to keep er cooler and sounds better also!
If I'm looking at that chart right, the 4910 held about 10% more torque over a 4k rpm span, that makes the power usable! The husky had a sweet air filtration system and I hear they are slim and handle real well. It's crazy to me how close they are, I have no doubt it means you've rung every bit of performance possible from 50cc
@@CharlesBrisco I can’t find anything specific to the 550 and a muffler mod. The mufflers look similar to the 545/562/572. Are they the same, or at least the same idea for the mods to the muffler?
Aye still impressed with the 49/501 power compared. Yet everyone says those husky 550 mk2s are made with fairy dust. Think the echo will still bost both of them with a longer bars and looks more forgiving power band. Be interesting if the husky will hold up. Is it worth popping the jug off to check for wear etc. Still a good job as always Charlie👍
@Jamie Dalluge interesting. Here in uk. Going off the arb forum, they have had lots of failures, mk1 and 2 running stock. Crank bearings and pistons, etc. Even the 560s had a bad rap. I don't personally run huskys. I'm still fairly impressed with Charlies port work on them. I'm just wondering if they will hold up long-term. 🤷🏻♂️
We had alot of issues with the early 562's here in the US but those have been mch better. The few 550's that have come back were due to user running them issues like running them dull or getting straight gassed otherwise the 550's have been very good considering the massive amount of them out there
@Jamie Dalluge they are not little animals then?😂.... nothing beats displacement, i guess . They seem fairly decent for 50cc, was impressed with what power he got out of the husky tbf. The stihl tad seems dispointing, though he got it running much better.
Great work Charles - you've set the bar really high with 3 x 6HP 50cc saws! 👍👍
Alot of work went into these, hats off to you for that. Non electronic carb for the win!!! The power curve was so much more consistent.👍🏻
Thanks for all you do Charles. This is turning out to be a great saw channel.

Good Job, Charlie!

Well I enjoy your work but also learning a ton at same time. Thanks fir that!
Congrats on those numbers and both saws rock! 👍👍
Great work buddy!!!! One heck of a builder 👍🏻
2 outstanding saws great job on both. Have an awesome week.
Love hearing how mch your enjoying that 550. That's awesome people were stopping to see what the racket was! Win
Nice. Great results off the dyno.
The Husky air filtration system seems an order of magnitude better than anything out there.
The large 562 failing dogs can be modified to fit the 550 xp
Great work, Charlie
Great saws there brother!! Way to go👍👍
Awesome gains on both ssws. Really impressed with that 550
What would it cost to get this work done.?
Nice work!!!
Please elaboriate on the 261 air filter issue as own one and want to have whats needed.
It plugs up fast compare to husky

@@sendyplumber thank you both for the information.
@@sendyplumberWhat muffler mod did you use?

Sweet good job
Nice buddy 👍
Could you run a 28” bar on the 550xp mk2?
Great job!
Awesome results! Why do you think the 4910 has a better power curve? Does it have to do with cylinder and or crank design?
Non electronic carb system. The electronic carbs are constantly adjusting to the perimeters set from Stihl’s firmware.
I should send you one of my Makita 5000 to do up and see how it compares 👍🏼👍🏼
Both real stout builds. Great job buddy I wouldn’t expect nothing less lol
Do you have a video of the fled you did on the 550? I just got one and can’t find any good info on the best way to do the mod. Thank you.
Yep fue vids on them

Very impressive 👍👍
Do you do porting for these for sale?
I only sell or trade them off when I'm done experimenting on them nor when I'm bored with them

The dealership we get our huskies from has sold 1,000's of them with no issues. We've ported around 100+ of them with no issues

I'm a big fan of Charles work as well regardless the brand. Our ported 550's turn out nice but their not like the lil animals that charlie puts out

It's amazing how much power you get out of these 50cc saws what is your opinion on the 550 Mark 1 vs. The mark 2
I likem both but there short lived saws run hot an case barrings fail easy
@CharlesBrisco you're suggesting the 261 is more reliable over time? Just curious and thanks for the video!
@@CharlesBrisco WOW. is that due to oil or the bearings not as robust?
Awesome!!!

What is the stock blow down for the 4910 CB?
