      Thanks for watching Mark. There is more to come and I ALWAYS let my viewers know how much I have invested in a car. Thats one thing that annoys me with other channels they act like they have a hunk of junk. BUT how much did your "junk" actually cost.

    Just a thought....because the roof is so bad, how about a "ranchero-ish" shop truck, moving the upper tailgate forward, leave the lower in place.
    Those motors and trans are bullet proof, and with the "flow-through" ventilation, no need for A/C! 😂

Right on bud, but you going to need something to sit on it see if she's going to run and if the trannies okay, brakes that might be another little problem??? No big deal, these old cars, are the good ones to work on everything's easy to get to usually.

    In Canada, the Plymouth Plaza, was also called a Dodge Crusader, just a rebadged Dodge, and not a U.S Coronet.

    • @somewhatfast
      @somewhatfast  10 месяцев назад +1

      The front end on the crusader was a little different. But yeah in Canada all the American cars were slightly different or just renamed. Canada restricted American manufacturers from bringing cars in. So the manufactures set up shop in Canada as canadian businesses built the same cars and changed the names a little.

    You do know that if converting from 6v to 12v that the WIRING if good will be more than enough correct? 6v systems have much larger size wiring than 12v.

    • @somewhatfast
      @somewhatfast  Год назад +1

      I would never use any wiring that is 69 years old. Especially on a car that had the windshield knocked out for 40 years. Its getting rewired.

    • @kittyfanatic1980
      @kittyfanatic1980 Год назад

      @@somewhatfast
      Yea probably not advisable if the windshield was out of it. Otherwise I’d say why not if it’s all good bc you’d be running the wiring technically at half rate. If it were me I’d do the rewire and use a converter to handle the 12v down to 6v for the accessories radio etc.
