I currently use a 5950x with rtx 3080 and wanted go buy the 7800x3d. Since zen 5 came out I just only wait for the 9800x3d version. My system is on a custom water loop and I could use it for the upgrade as well since both have the same mounting. I was looking for a 3080 benchmark but found yours and that game is running better than I expected on the 7800x3d. Nice video any thx for your work!
What is frametime and why is it lower in 5700x3d... isn't frame-time time interval between each frame rendered... so, more fps means lower frame-time between each frame in 1 sec?
The result. Are you running same settings etc?? Just that my friends with 7800x3d vs my 5800x3d is like 120 fps more avg and 60 more in 1% lows. 400 avg in deathmatch seems low.
If your fps is 400 max then you should google why that is the case. Shouting that everything is fake is ignorant. Put this command in the console: fps_max 0 .
@@Kangaroo-x that's because the game is poorly optimized, I have friends with 3070 and I have a 6950XT same processor etc. Low usage but totaly different fps
@@klever891 not poorly optimized PC guy it's CPU intensive game the Ryzen 7800x3d works all the way more than the 60%(A.K.A Low usage in your brain) but valve's newest Source engine putted a lot effects so that's why the game runs bad then before

Do you even have this setup? Or are you just commenting randomly? If your gpu is not limited and the cpu can drive the frames up you are able to get that fps in some cases.

something wierd is up, my 5800x3d avg around 470, and 1% lows at 240.. at deathmatch, in premier 500+ and 260 1% lows

The 5800X3D and 5700X3D are not the same in terms of performance. I run the tests with exactly the same settings on each cpu.

It's a pleasure to watch your videos, the only question is why is ZEN3 not 4000? I have seen AMD's PPT and they recommend ZEN4 6000 and ZEN3 4000.
Zen 3 can't even do 4000 on 99% of mobos on cr1 and uclk 1, 3600-3733 is sweetspot, like my cpus did 3933..
You think fps have dropped recently from updates? Bought 7800x3d quite a few months ago and fps isn't as high as it used to be in dm.
For me the performance has slightly improved!

You will never get 700-600 fps with this setup im with 4080 7800x3d 32Ram 6k mhz 30cl and barley getting this fps on low graphics
Well you need to turn some settings on so you graphich can perform a little , everything on low = your graphic is good as dead.
