Flying ETIHAD FIRST CLASS during COVID?

- I flew on this First Class flight for less than coach/economy?! This is Etihad's First Class, and could very well be the best First Class flying at the moment. Offering full service whilst many other airlines have cut back to offering next to no First Class service. Come with me on my journey today starting in Abu Dhabi and flying over to Geneva Switzerland. Also... I may have tried flying a plane for the first time in the United Arab Emirates.
I'll take you through the meals offered, the incredible bedding, super comfy pyjamas and amenity kit. We'll take a comprehensive look at what the hard product is like comparable to current First Class flights offered. I flew Emirates First Class on their 777 known as the Game Changer just a few weeks ago and I can tell you now, Etihad hold's it's own!

Been longing to watch this one and it impressed me. What a spectacular experience- this was in my opinion too, what looked to be the best First experience of 2020! Great video. In early January, my wife and I flying into DXB and back home to the States 11 days later out of AUH. Just curious, were you in Dubai for 2 or more weeks and that's how you were able to drive straight to AUH and fly out without a visitor quarantine requirement in Abu Dhabi?

I used AA miles to fly EY apartments last year. JNB-AUH-LHR for £33 and 80,000 miles which was bought in a sale so only cost £1300 flying 787-10 in J studio first leg and A380 on F Apartments second (sadly there was no F cabin on the first leg due to equipment swap still an amazing experience nonetheless!!! And as you say best steak on a plane ever!
Your nose is part of your respiratory system! 😉. Please wear a really fitted mask 😷 it’s not hard to do . Even a common blue surgical mask will fit if you loop the ear loops .

Metal spoon with caviar is not a problem at all and only people without knowledge would complain (which are a lot). The point is that only a very few metals react with proteins (oxidation). Silver is one of them, which causes a dry taste if in contact with proteins. Using mother-of-pearl spoons is an expensive market gimmick and due to misconceptions which won't go away.

I still don't get why Etihad always ranks low on Skytrax. I mean, I've been watching all these vlogs about them and it's clear, they're doing very well. New subscriber here btw!!!
Skytrax is a total scam which ask airlines to pay them extra for high ranking, and this rumor kinda makes sense when airlines like British airways who have way more inferior product than etihad are ranking higher than etihad and etihad is getting lower rank coz of this reason
Etihad's first class takes luxury to a whole new level.

Seems Air Canada have changed their aeroplan so you no longer can buy miles like you show in this video you buy points and it's now more costly to use points than cash. Wonder if any of the partner airlines in the program are still able to buy miles instead of points....that was definitely a good idea but seems the airlines got wise to your trick and possibly other RUclipsrs mentioning it and changed it.

It's part of my job, and I also strongly believe in the importance of supporting the travel industry where possible as long as appropriate measures are taken. Air travel is among the safest form of transport in current times.

@@davidturgarcia2266 No offence taken. I wore my mask the vast majority of the flight only taking off during meal service and a couple of other occasions when speaking to camera. The cabin was also empty so there wasn’t anyone near me

I have no problem with you flying, but taking the mask off inflight is a bit rude.
Not really sure what you’re on about mate, I wore my mask throughout the flight (empty btw) and took off whilst eating - as you’ll see in the video
@@Trektrendy not trying to be difficult or anything... I get this is a hard time for everyone so don't want to be "that guy" but at about 3:19 it seems like the mask is off not while you're eating. I just mention it because I'm travelling to see elderly grandparents right now (can't catch covid) and it really annoys me when people take it off while they're not eating. But if it was right before the meal then my bad. Also, nice video, I appreciate it!
If anyone is staying overnight in a first class lounge, he or she should Atleast be given a private room with toilet/shower to rest and then catch the next flight, right!!! What a Shame!!! Qatar Airways First Class service gives it ALL, a 6 Hours Sleeping Room with a proper Bathroom and A'la Carte dining as well, SHAME ON ETIHAD FIRST CLASS SERVICE.
Could've been better without Josh's appearance. I stopped watching his channel long ago. He tried so hard to gain reputation from giving harsh critique with his drama queen attitude at airline's cost.
