    Miss Ellie had a way of being stern, but not mean or ugly.

    Right! Miss Ellie is like E.F. Hutton...when she talks...people listen....except JR that is.

    There wasn't anything between them in the past. He was in love with Sue Ellen not reciprocal as Sue Ellen was in love with Dusty.

      She fell completely to pieces when Clayton had lunch with a young woman in a painting. It was pathetic to watch.

    this scene is the result of that part....and it leaves off the part when she's like "Honorable, Honorable, Clayton." LOL

    its easy to say 'She cant blame J.R for her drinking' but if you have ever been put through the things J.R did to Sue Ellen than it would be easy to turn to alohol

    It wasn't Clayton's fault he didn't know Sue Ellen was there after she caught J.R. with Holly Harwood.

      Clayton didn't know what to he shouldn't call Mrs Ellie ASAP.

      He told J.R. that after Sue Ellen had caught him in bed with that Harwood woman she felt like she didn't have a home .

      Holly Harwood was a bitch who set Sue Ellen up and then swore she didn’t know SE was an alcoholic. In real life Holly/Lois Chiles was the girlfriend of the late Glenn Frey. Don’t know if they were married. She also was in a James Bond film. I think she played Holly Goodhead!!!!! Too funny. All the Bond girls with their X- rated names. Who could forget Pussy Galore and Honey Rider? I was a little kid when those came out, but laughed my brains out about P. Galore. Can’t remember what finally became of Holly on Dallas. Sue Ellen wrecked the car driving drunk. Just can’t remember much except it was a short honeymoon. In the very end Sue Ellen was gorgeous, but poor Larry Hagman was so ill that JR looked like a frail old man that realizes he does love Sue Ellen.

    Hated the writing n storylines once Jim Davis died....was all over the board n made little sense...End of s5 Clayton returns to Dallas engagement ring in Tow planning to propose 2 Sue-ellen....a women had been intimate with his son....that has never given him the slightest inclination she was interested him romantically........Meanwhile, in S6 he eventually shares his feelings during that time n Sue-ellen indicates she was not aware......based on his response it appeared to him that if she were not so self-absorbed it wld have been obvious..... that was w/o merit since on 2 separate occasions, the issue surfaced n each time Sue Ellen expressed she thought of him as the father she never had....

  • @hardren101

    A great show for it's time......often fantasize the storylines n course of the show had Jim Davis
    remained part of the show.....the stupid shit they did during S5......sue ellen leaves jr by the end of s4,divorces him mid s5,only to reconcile with him by the end of s5 (bobby reminds her of his affair n fathering a child with her baby sister only 4 her to 4give the betrayal 2 epsds later) n remarry him mid s6.......Clayton comes with a ring to propose to a women his son had been intimate with n that he has never been intimate with n shown no romantic interest in n when Afton brought it to her attention he clarified there was no romantic interest n she tells him she thinks of him as a surrogate father......end of S7 cliff sells his share of WWTD 2 Katherine for $18m, only to turn around n use it for collateral 2 obtain a $6m dollar loan from Wendell....Some important milestones took place in S9 only for them to obliterate them by making the entire season a dream to return Duffy.....when even an 8yr old knws you never remove a character in a way that is impossible to return them in soap world.......once they moved ahead with the "who shot Jr storyline.....Dallas official became the Larry Hagman show at the behest/resentment of the other cast mbrs...they got damn lucky b/c had hagman died or had an ailment that left him unable to perform....the show was dead in the water...

      & it was to all of us initially...but get over it now. I'm sure she realized it the moment she looked in the mirror, but what could she do at that pt., short of wearing a wig or hair extensions. She let it grow bk...eventually.

    Laughable that Sue Ellen blames JR for her drinking. JR is a sociopath, but that's him. It's Sue' Ellen's fault she has a drinking problem, her fault, and her fault alone.

    • @hardren101
      @hardren101 8 лет назад +1

      +Derek Mathews u r 100% correct but its not a leap that someone will blame someone else for their problems.......a few short years ago their was a college student prosecuted because he posted something on line of his roommate in a sexual encounter with another male...outting him as gay n the student committed suicide.....2 my shock the guy was actually found guilty n i was shocked because someone one who is mentally sound does not commit suicide because they are outted...
