    Team this is a very old video and as I’ve grown in this field I have came up with better ways to improve the aerobic system. Here is an example here ➡️
    Running 3 Miles Will Not Get You Match Fit For Football/Soccer | This is how to do it
    ruclips.net/user/shortsUKPbw7RNLds?feature=share
    The shuttles are still great for getting back in shape but to maintain and considering your in season volume and playing time this fits most in shape players ➡️

    Type B fast twitch muscle fibres can use oxygen and glycogen as a source of energy. That's why soccer players can do continuous sprints in a match because they are not relying solely on glycogen (stored glucose in the muscles) but can use oxygen as power for sprinting.

      Hi

    • @kylemiller5671
      @kylemiller5671 3 года назад +1

      To answer your question, sort of. Aerobic ability needs to be maintained 3X a week regardless of anything else. Think of a pyramid as your aerobic base and high intensity training like building up from that base. You are going to see results doing this, but those results will be limited if you aren't aerobically fit already. 2-4 weeks will probably be the maximum this can improve before you hit the ceiling of trying to stack your pyramid too high on a small base. I incorporate long times on cycling machines, long runs and distance running training plans to maximize this type of training when I'm entering a pre-season.

    • @MK-ib8ch
      @MK-ib8ch 3 года назад

      @@kylemiller5671 hello thanks for the info
      N I've seen you said 3x a week so does that mean me doing it every day won't help me get fitter faster?

    • @kylemiller5671
      @kylemiller5671 3 года назад +2

      @@MK-ib8ch 3X a week of aerobic work is maintenance, fast and hard efforts need to be followed by slow and easy runs and a long run should be thrown in once a week to make the overall distance of matches easy. This can't be skipped or rushed. It's painfully. Slow. Significant progress comes in years, but it's the type of fitness that's never truly lost. There's a lot of information that translates to distance running plans. I build my base with a half marathon training plan from Pfitzinger during my off-season, then follow that up with weight training and this type of work when there's only a month or two left.

And in order to show the real sports physical condition of any athlete, including a football player, it is necessary to show such a non stop intensive training, which really shows the mentioned physical condition of the athlete !!!
      For an obvious example of what I have said, I present to you this video about the highest physical condition of a football player from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia: ruclips.net/video/4rUyd0-MEtk/видео.html
