You can get fevrite from the angel shop too. top 5 items to forge: 1. all the king weapons that arent at 25 atk. 2. lightning shaker 3. dragoon spear 4. azure crest shield/greatshield 5. blue rose shield
Just to add on, in farming fevrite at Albion, although it seem expensive to do, it is very easy to get platinum or gold ore (I don't recall now) which will sell quite a lot and will actually recover 1000 gold spent. And also it can give divine shards as well which can use to exchange at the angel shop for fervite.
@@user-xn5me8iz7c I had it on Yahna and put Chlorotic on Auch for the Fire Burst at the end of battle. You usually want him to use Concentrate instead though, so I guess it becomes less useful as he gets access to Concentrate
Runic Sword first and the Parry Shield second. The Runic Sword is useful for any Elven Fencer. The shield proved very effective on my Lex. Defender gave him back PP, Parry spent PP to get back AP, and it meant I could invest AP and PP accessories elsewhere and still keep him relatively competitive. As for the Blacksmith himself, you can get to Albion before reaching Bastorias, but the battles are tough. First head to the west to unlock the harbour in Elheim, win the battle there, travel to Albion, and then run through the region until you reach the sanctuary. Initiate the struggle there, which is the rough part. I managed it on TZ with squads between levels 25 and 28. You can do something similar elsewhere too, if you want a few Bestral units early: complete Drakenhold first and take a boat to Bastorias before even stepping foot in Elheim.
I can second that. I had this battle available before Bastoria. Didn’t do it because I didn’t know about the BS and because o was waaaaaaay under level
@@bxaire The Colosseum items are busted and can give you a large leap ahead in effectiveness and damage, especially at lower levels. My Yahna had a one-shot Trinity Rain set-up going as well, and most of the enemies were Cavalry, so my Fran anti-Cav unit absolutely wrecked them. Take an Archer unit too; some Angels spawn at the Command Post who'll make a B-line for your own Command Post. Unlocking the BS early opens up so many possibilities. The Werefoxes tend to be hardier physically than normal Thieves and Rogues, but a forged, max-damage Unwavering Lance minces them.
Question, if a weapon has +phys and +magical, do both + get added to every attack? Ie: if I give a swordmaster the rune blade, do their attacks now deal phys and mag dmg?
No and yes. Each stat only buffs one particular attack and what stat it uses is listed in the attack description. That being said, attacks that use both, like elf attacks, use both stats so yes.
I haven't done any forging yet. Based on how the upgrades work, I'd probably only upgrade gear that either has a skill you use often or if the item has extra stats that benefit the person you have the item on. With all the gear that has skills or stat enhancements, upgrading a bronze or other lower stat gear to max wouldn't be as beneficial.
yes. youll see under healing "Mag. Potency" just like with magic attacks. most scale w magic, but some like the Sergeant class heal based on %HP instead
Yeah so, mining for fevrite is the only way that is kind to the mind. As for what to forge, as implied in the video, it is very subjective to your units but shields are never a bad idea that's for sure. So many shields are good for upgrade and I think the choice paralysis hits the hardest there. Otherwise, I found myself naturally upgrading swords more than anything because a lot of good ones are early game weapons, and the other type of weapons seem to have an infinite number of great end-game ones (that, as end game weapons, I find hard to justify forging for 1-3 meagre extra points of damage). Of course, the fact that so many classes use them (and swords masters can equip two) also factors in why it's what I ended up upgrading the most. But yeah, apart from a few cases, most of my upgrades were focused on shields because the value you get out of each upgrade is rarely debatable, off the top of my head, runic weapons / phantom weapons are good candidates for those whose builds are centred around it. My "custom" avatar mix-damage swordmaster build particularly enjoyed rocking an upgraded +5 stat sword + upgraded phantom blade - in essence, nothing was safe from it. Crit-ing on both fronts all day every day.
I just got to the blacksmith and the battles are rough but doable with items. I only had enough honors to upgrade one weapon which I upgraded the thrusting lance with true strike, forget the name but I agreed with everything you said. I had a rough time choosing but I considered all the Kings weapons too. I looked at the shields but I thought a low attack weapon with good skills were better. I almost picked the guard Hunter or healing Hunter bows! Keep up the great work! Great informative video!
The weapon forging system feel so poorly implemented. It is teased all the way back in Cornia, but you don't get access to it until Albion, which is generally the last country you go to. After that, all it does is standardise the damage/defence of the weapon or defence without modifying anything else meaning you're back to where you were before you upgraded; you use the weapon that gives the best stats/abilities. Lastly, it is insanely restricted on what you can upgrade in the first place with no clear explanation why some things can or can't be upgraded.
“Pardon, are you truly the only blacksmith in all Fevrith with this level of talent?” “Well, there were my apprentices… but the eldest had his hands crushed for opposing the Zenoiran occupation; the second, she got possessed by their possession magic and was part of the invading force of Bastorias. Thawing scepter is so good. Magic attacking armors that almost always guard strong physical attacks is so good
This. i used Auch with that Scepter all game

I immediately thought of runic sword as well. It gave Railanor a boost in dmg. I also thought about the weapon with guard hunter.
Good job with the narrative. Thanks

Is the healing affected by mag attack power?
I’m not sure, and I’m also curious on if crit rate affects when you get a critical heal. Confused on that front as well
