Air Force commercial and Marines Corps commercial is better than the army with its woke movement, and don't forget the army with Emma and her two moms.😅

Indeed 💯. Forget the two moms from Emma and the army. Better join the Air Force or Marines Corps for active or reserve on either those two.

      Steps to the Enlistment
      • • Contact your local recruiter. Recruiter will ask you qualification and eligibility questions. Potentially take a practice test in the office. Depending on how well you do will determine if you get scheduled for the real ASVAB.
      • • Recruiter schedules you for the ASVAB at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) or
MET Site. Your recruiter will go over your scores when you return to the recruiting office. If your recruiter tells you that you passed, then he or she will schedule you for the MEPS Exam
      • • At the MEPS your exam will consist of bloodwork, drug testing, medical questioning about all your medical history and a full medical exam. You will be asked about any law violations, arrests, convictions, charges, ANY thing involved a law enforcement officer. You will be fingerprinted, and your prints and information will be run by a federal background investigator. You will then discuss your career selections with an Air Force Liaison based on your ASVAB scores, medical exam, and the X-Factor test results (test is like a dead lift).
      • • You will list your careers (at least 8-10 or more depending on the recruiter) down and the Air Force Liaison will input your choices on your record. You will be asked if you want to do a 4- or 6-year enlistment. You will then be sworn in with the Oath of Enlistment and enter the Delayed Entry Program at MEPS. After this you will go back to your recruiter’s office.
      • • You will wait for your recruiter to contact you when he or she gets notified that you have been booked a career based on one of the choses you listed at MEPS. This may take a few days, weeks or months (it
varies). Your recruiter will call you in to the office to sign your contract and discuss your career field and date that you leave to Basic Training The average time to basic is approximately 3-9 months after you DEP in

Awesome!! Here are some things to help you before and during BMT.
      1. Know your reporting statement
      2. Teamwork is essential
      3. Know your chain of command
      4. Know the Airmen’s Creed
      5. Know the Air Force Song
      6. Know Air Force ranks (both enlisted & officers)
      7. Know Air Force Core values
      8. Recommend being at or close to the BMT PT graduation level before you go to BMT.
      airforce.com/education/military-training/bmt
Everything else will come with time. If you do not know any of the above please contact your recruiter for this information. Good luck future Airman!

I’m looking to retrain to EOD, started the process with my local flight, but then was informed that EOD was removed from the early retraining memorandum that SPECWAR and SERE fall under, despite the career field still being undermanned and the career field expanding and having more retraining slots. What gives??

    • @USAirForceRecruiting
      @USAirForceRecruiting  2 месяца назад +1

@ECHO_259 The Prior Service (PS) program is an enlistment program, allowing a select number of separated individuals to return to active duty in limited careers. The total accession is subject to change based on Air Force needs.
