I wasted so much of my teens sleeping till the late afternoon and lazing around due to severe depression. I let it take over me because I didn’t know I had it. I thought what I was doing was making me happy & comfy, but it wasn’t, it was only feeding my depression. Now, I still have mental illnesses, but every day I try to wake up early, try to keep my space clean, try to eat healthy, and try to have some sort of routine, because I recognise that these things are what genuinely make me happy and feel fulfilled. Even if I fail that day, I will always keep trying. Never give up. Don’t let your mental illness win and consume you further. If you have depression, routine and self care are so important for your wellbeing. I wish you all the best life possible 🌼 Fight every day.

I recommend going to Bed at 9:00 or 9:15 pm...You can do activities that make you tired and exhausted so you feel like sleeping and get the sleep you need so you can said up at your desired time. Also put your electronics somewhere out of your room at night so you won't be tempted to go on them. Not telling you what to do just some advice. Hope I helped! :)

Its all about planning, having a basic hair doe's, mini recipes that are fast and tasty, keep a timer while you shower or a 2 song playlist... That's what has help me 😉
I love how people in developed countries have the "opportunity" to wake up early and think it's a big deal. Here we don't have a choice. School and work opens at 7am, bus or train take so much time. And usually the only place where you can study or work is in the center of towns or in the "Capital" the center of our country. So we have no choice. All the people I know wake up between 4:30am to 5:30am almost every day. Oh! Also so many people don't have heat water(in some communities they do not have clean water at all) .
i wake up at like 7:40 and then drive 15 minutes to school and i would be late since it starts at 7:45, but if i bring my teacher breakfast each day and he doesn't care.
Yeah...that fricken sucks... I hated high school for sure cuz school would be at 8 am but my bus would get me a few min after 7 am so I had to be stuck on an hour long bus ride as it filled up with more and more annoying kids. A lot of em just liked to scream, bully each other, or talk about inappropriate things as well as constant swearing. Most annoying way to start the morning right before school starts. Once I got my drivers license tho never took the bus again and I could drive in peace, listen to whatever music I wanted or podcasts. I used to get up at 5 am during high school but I think I was in 10th grade then and I also drank coffee every one of those mornings even tho coffee isnt what u need in the morning. :/ I want a healthy morning routine that I can stick to knowing I'll get up everyday at the same time.
I have the opposite.... I study best late at night (2/3 am) so usually for an exam i need to drink energy or tricking coffee as i went to bed at 4:30 am 😂
You don't need to know right now, things will be clear once you declutter your mind. Follow the same steps and adapt them to your environment, the rest will follow, it's a mere consequence .

For college students looking to receive good grades, waking up early gives you an edge over 99.9% of students. Most peers at my school complained about waking up for 8am classes. If they are sleeping in everyday and pulling B’s and C’s, you most definitely can pull straight A’s by utilizing your time well
Veronica Guvel no you’re right, 16 hours in a day is the same regardless to what time you wake up at. When I wake up early though, I feel in control of my day and am more likely to study harder. It’s probably just the fact that I’m starting the day with discipline and have more quiet time to myself. But it all differs for the individual. If you’re laser focused staying up late and sleeping in, there’s no harm there.
I take morning classes and it's still a struggle. For one, I have insomnia and the days I do get sleep I sleep like a dead person. Waking up, going to sleep-its a struggle and it does effect everything

I think all of the stuff she did in the video is a form of self love. When you start loving yourself, you automatically start doing all those things that are good for you. I think we should all focus on self love. It doesn’t come by easily especially when you grew up in a negative environment. I needed therapy to get better, and once I got better, I automatically started doing everything that’s good for me and guess what, I didn’t even have to force myself. I enjoyed every bit of it. Nowadays, I am always exited about every single day! Alhamdulillah!! ❤️❤️❤️

One Girl try putting your phone in another room!! My phone goes in my bathroom and whenever it goes off I’m up so quickly and run to the bathroom so it doesn’t wake anyone up lol. The hard part is staying up and not getting back into bed. But if you have some self discipline you can make yourself stay out of bed!!
This is so inspiring to watch! I deal with severe depression and panic attacks. But i want to make a change in my life so bad. So i been watching some motivational speakers and listening to Joel Osteen a couple of times a day. I feel it is time for me to put the pieces back since I been so broken for so long. I dream about being happy and not depressed. I'm going to make a change for the better since I watched this video it gives me hope that I TOO CAN DO IT!! I will remain positive and positive thinking so I can come out of this ugly feeling. It's not really bout when you wake up..I can wake up at 5 but spend my day procrastinating that's not being productive, u can wake up at 7 if that makes u feel better and energized than at 5 but still be more productive than waking at 5 😊 do what works for u!

For college students looking to receive good grades, waking up early gives you an edge over 99.9% of students. Most peers at my school complained about waking up for 8am classes. If they are sleeping in everyday and pulling B’s and C’s, you most definitely can pull straight A’s by utilizing your time well
Veronica Guvel no you’re right, 16 hours in a day is the same regardless to what time you wake up at. When I wake up early though, I feel in control of my day and am more likely to study harder. It’s probably just the fact that I’m starting the day with discipline and have more quiet time to myself. But it all differs for the individual. If you’re laser focused staying up late and sleeping in, there’s no harm there.

I think all of the stuff she did in the video is a form of self love. When you start loving yourself, you automatically start doing all those things that are good for you. I think we should all focus on self love. It doesn’t come by easily especially when you grew up in a negative environment. I needed therapy to get better, and once I got better, I automatically started doing everything that’s good for me and guess what, I didn’t even have to force myself. I enjoyed every bit of it. Nowadays, I am always exited about every single day! Alhamdulillah!! ❤️❤️❤️

I try this alk the time but everytime my phones alarm starts ringing, i shut that thing off IMMEDIATELY and i go back to sleep
One Girl try putting your phone in another room!! My phone goes in my bathroom and whenever it goes off I’m up so quickly and run to the bathroom so it doesn’t wake anyone up lol. The hard part is staying up and not getting back into bed. But if you have some self discipline you can make yourself stay out of bed!!

This is so inspiring to watch! I deal with severe depression and panic attacks. But i want to make a change in my life so bad. So i been watching some motivational speakers and listening to Joel Osteen a couple of times a day. I feel it is time for me to put the pieces back since I been so broken for so long. I dream about being happy and not depressed. I'm going to make a change for the better since I watched this video it gives me hope that I TOO CAN DO IT!! I will remain positive and positive thinking so I can come out of this ugly feeling. It's not really bout when you wake up..I can wake up at 5 but spend my day procrastinating that's not being productive, u can wake up at 7 if that makes u feel better and energized than at 5 but still be more productive than waking at 5 😊 do what works for u!
