Awesome. I think this might solve my problem on my misfire. I did all the coils, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, and it’s still running rough with a misfire. It will start shaking, I’m hoping this might solve the problem, if not, I’m probably looking at a bad piston rings smhhh
Outstanding. I have a persistent P0303 code. The connector (like the one in this video) has a broken clip. I’m wondering if this could be causing the intermittent P0303 code??? My plugs are fine. New coil packs. So has anyone had a misfire code due to a loose connection on the coil pack? This looks like a real simple repair. Of course I have the metal plate covering where I need to work. Hate these engines.
GREAT video. THANKS ! One question....Just got broken connector off, aaaand forgot to look at which wire/terminal went in which hole. Does it matter? Positive on one side negative on the other, etc.?
That I couldn’t be sure off. Shouldnt be to hard with the wires sitting the same way for so long they should have some kind of “memory” in them. (like fishing line removed from a spool is still coiled up) And only one side of the metal terminal has the little tabs that the plastic 1 & 2 clips sit into. If you get it wrong and you have a misfire, at least you know where to look!
Hey Hernandez, those are the going to be the terminals, I don’t personally sell those but if you type in 3.6l ignition coil connector terminals on eBay they have some listings that sell the connectors with the terminals and seals. You will need a special tool to crimp them on to the factory wiring. May be easier to get a connector with the pigtail and splice it on
I’ve been searching forever for a straightforward video that shows how to do this. Thanks!
Just ordered off your eBay. Thanks.
SHUT UP!? This was the most helpful and best video I’ve ever seen

You got 5- 7 identical parts to reference. Good luck, the odds are in your favor.
Can u do a video how to replace the pigtail please
Thank you
My ignition coil in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6 has 3 metal prongs. Will these fit that? It looks like these are made for a 2 prong.
I broke one. Typical of my learning technique. I just put a little hose clamp around it. Snug as a bug.
where can i find the part? dealer?
What if I broke the one and two metal connectors? How do I replace those?

@@RUclipscertifiedd Thanks for the quick response, will I be able to drive with a disconnected coil connector?
G Hernandez unless it’s an emergency or to get it somewhere for repair, I wouldn’t be just driving around with it dead missing.
@@RUclipscertifiedd I tried to start it it didn't even start right away it took like 5 seconds then I had all kinds of lights on.
I bought them at the dealer for 4.95 each
