This channel is my GO TO for all things Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Pentastar. I've learned so much over the years from David as he is one of the most knowledgable in regards to all things Chrysler products.

The key phrase in this video: Take your time.
The P-Star is an engine that requires much patience and long-suffering to achieve effective service results; at least in my case. 😄
As always, thanks for the great advice David!

I did this on my 17 charger with the p-star in it I lost my patience with it after I got done I gave up and put it back together but I have to go back in to it anyways cause I don't think I got the cam shaft sensor seal in all the way and I think the spark plug tube seals slide as well

Thanks, David. I enjoy your Pentastar videos. I own two of them, and they're getting older (10 and 6 years), even though they've been 100% trouble free. One is lifetime maxcare, so that one's not my problem, but the other isn't. Well done, sir!

I changed that spark plugs, coils and coil boots last night. My coil boots were nice n dry so I didn't have to change the seals. I never knew the oil filler neck came off like that.

I never have to take the filler tube off but if you ever have to you can as you saw. Now you shouldn’t have to do much for another 100,000 miles…..fingers crossed

@@MotorCityMechanicHi there. I'm going to replace the spark plugs & coils on my 2013 Chrysler 300 V6. A sales tech at a local shop told me I'll also have to replace the intake manifold gasket and O-rings since they're 1 time use. I can't figure out where the O-rings go, I've never done this work on this car. They sell a the gasket kit and it comes with six O-rings. Any help/tip/advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you

David can you please do a video on the 3.6 knock sensors? When that oil cooler/filter housing goes the knock sensors are in a coolant oil bath and the connections get fouled. There appears to be a pigtail harness that is replaceable along with the sensors. I’ve read the sensors are very sensitive to proper torque.

Thanks again with the help on the oil in coolant issue i had and your recommendation to go after the oil cooler assembly first. I replaced it this weekend and flushed the system and am confident that was the issue.
